Can you have a package booked under your name and book another one for the same resort with the same or slightly same days?Nope, you shouldn't have any problems. I had a package booked last year and once FD came out, I booked a new one online. I then canceled my original one a little while after. They were both under my name.
This feedback is very helpful. Thanks. One last question....would you recommend making the 2nd reservation now, then the morning free dining is offered (before AAA opens at 9:00am), add free dining?Nope, you shouldn't have any problems. I don't have personal experience with this because I was booked at Pop and then booked the new one at CBR. They were the exact same dates though! I don't see why you couldn't?Can you have a package booked under your name and book another one for the same resort with the same or slightly same days?
I would personally wait. There's really not much of an incentive to book now and I wouldn't sit on two reservations for too long. This feedback is very helpful. Thanks. Our kids are 14 and 17 and we pull them out for a week every year. It does get a little more challenging as they get older, but like you, as long as they are doing well it shouldn't be a problem.
What time does it usually become available online? You can book as soon as it pops up online. Yes, you can do it online..no need to wait to call.
What time does it usually become available online?
I got my confirmation email at 4:29 am last year (EST). So it was around that time that it became available. I was up all night refreshing lol. What time does it usually become available online?
I think I remember people reporting last year that they were able to book as early as 2:30am. You just never know. What time does it usually become available online?
I bite, what happened last year?Then...he said...THIS:
"But, you know we're open until 11:00. Even if you got home from work in the evening you could call and add it then."
I laughed. Out loud. At him...the poor clueless Disney rep guy. And said:
"Are you crazy?!? Do you even know what happened last year?!?!?
He started laughing along with me so I'm guessing he really wasn't clueless, but just giving me the stock Disney answers that he's required to give.
Gave me a good laugh for the day, though.
I see where everyone is waiting for an April 25 date for the FD dates to be officially announced, with fingers already poised on the "book it" button. However, my TA has told me that the 4/25 "drop date" will be only for Disney Visa cardholders, and the general public (like me) will not be able to book on that date. Can anyone clarify? It sounded like those of us non-Disney Visa folks would finally know the official FD dates but would be powerless to do anything with them until some time later. So how soon after the dates are announced will us "regular folks" be able to book?
Last year I called at 7:20am EST and there was no availability left at my resort. It was a feeding frenzy!I bite, what happened last year?
I find it kind of funny, this frenzy. I'm as anxious as the next person however reading that people are/want to book two reservations and that people are waking up at 4:30 to get it booked, kind of cracks me up. There are tons of reservations, that's how come the offers says book by and gives a date two months away. They don't sell out in minutes, hours or even days. I doubt many of us here will not get FD if its in the dates set by Disney.
Its all in fun though so I hope everyone gets what they want. Good luck to us all!
Any idea of what resorts will be included I'm sure it was mentioned but going back through all these pages is nutso. I already booked AoA family suite by thinking about moving to the mod for the cheaper room and I wouldn't have to pay the upgrade dinning fee
