I'm going 9/28-10/4 family suite AoA prob going to upgrade to DDplan and still stay there even though it's more then the mods I like the thought of more space 2 adults 7yo and 12yo

That 11/11 versus 11/15 changes things a lot for my family, if it's true. I really hope it is...

A moderator in a different thread. Said these dates are mostly like the UK dates.

Hope so. Need October last week

I have a question...so I already have a package booked at CBR for dates that I think will hopefully have free dining offered. If free dining is offered, how do I get the discount applied to my package. I already have the dining plan on my package. TIA for all the help! Not sure if I am supposed to modify, or book a new package, cancel the old (how would that work since our flights were in the original package)...or what...

Please help! I want to be ready when the announcement is made....

Also, I see people talking about staying at a value and upgrading the dining plan...is that an option, and how much does it cost? Trying to look at all my options ahead of time.

Thank you!!!!!

Does anyone else find it odd that there are no dates for October and almost halfway into November but there are 3 days so close to Thanksgiving available?

Are the cabins usually included? Would rather have the extra space for a family of five over staying at a moderate or AoA And upgrading the dining plan.

I don't think it's odd when you consider that those are arrival dates for free dining. They won't benefit anyone who is actually there for Thanksgiving, because their arrival is before the promotion. It's more for those going the week after Thanksgiving which is a much slower week. .

Not really a FD question but I hope I can get some feedback.

My husband has me second guessing our trip this year and putting it off a year. :( My youngest will just be turning 2 when we plan to go in December. Would it be better to hold off a year? I'm just worried she will be bored and cranky the whole time. lol How much is there for a 2 year old to do?

I don't understand your reasoning? These dates greatly benefit those who will be arriving the week of Thanksgiving. The TG crowds start to roll in Sat-Wed before thanksgiving and anyone checking in Sat-Mon can get Free Dining. The same thing with the December dates- they are very beneficial to those staying over Christmas week. Someone can check in and have FD all through winter break.

There is so much for a two year old to do. My son is four now he has been every year since he was a year. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. Just don't stay too long in the parks a one time and let her nap. She will be fine.

We took my son when he was 2. It was so fun!! The look on his face when he met Mickey for the first time was priceless. There were a bunch of rides he could ride in Magic Kingdom. And - best of all - he was free. lol If you wait until your daughter is 3 you'll have to buy her a ticket! Just go at her pace and you'll be fine :D

I thought you were talking about the Nov26-28 dates

Are there any rides for her at that age? She will be 2 on Nov 30th and our vacation is 12/16. She's very small and if she's anything like my others she will still be small then. She isn't even on the charts for her height. So if they are height restricted, I highly doubt she will make it. lol

There's way more for her to ride than not. Anything without a height restriction and there are a ton!
We've taken my son every year since he was 6 months old and he was super fun as a toddler. Just so in awe and easily amused!

That makes me feel so much better!

Question-

I didn't see my travel dates- 12/3 listed. I'm ok with that bc I choose the room discount and then pay for DDP. It saves hundreds that way!!
But last year the room discount and free dining ran at same time.

If 12/3 is blacked out from free dining.. Does that mean chances are good that it will be blacked out from room only discounts as well?

I'm betting its because of the 45th anniversary celebration in October as well as Food and Wine Festival. It's already going to be packed!
