South Americans are starting to chatter. August 14-22 is said to be South American agency dates, while remaining dates are still as rumored.

To quote a bit of broken english:
"Free meals: Travel agencies will have additional period from 14/8 to 22/8. Remaining dates coincide with rumor posted days ago."

I don't even know what this means...

Only TAs will be able to book those dates?

I haven't taken my kids to disney, so no clue how this works. I already have a November 28th- Dec 2nd booked in the Cabins. I opened a disney Visa and put the deposit on right away with that. So, my deposit is on Disney Visa, but I don't physically have the card. Would I still be eligible for Visa free dining dates if there is one?

Also, how would I modify online? I see a link to change reservation. Then change under specials. Is that where I'd go?

Thank you so much for the update! Waiting with bated breath for the announcement here

thanks for the update, looking more and more like I will have to do a split stay, first 3 days RO, last 4 FD. 2 families so 4 reservations.

That appears to be additional dates only for the South American agencies. Not sure exactly how they do things down there, but their dates don't always perfectly align with our dates, as they noted.

Ah that makes more sense! Thanks!

I doubt there will be anything for Canadians, that's just my thought. Looking at the last special we were offered, it was a discount if you stayed OFF property. Stay NEAR the world. It was an odd offer. Again, jmo.
Yeah, that was a weird offer. But we did get earlier FD dates for the past two years. So, you never know.

Was anyone else trying to check Dis at 4AM and getting error messages? I thought for sure that meant something.
P
We have an autistic teen, and have been on the dining plan every year. We have NEVER been told no, they just make an adult portion for him of the kids meal. OOP I have no idea, but I'm guessing that they would not say no.
What is OPP?

Traditionally Canadians get earlier start dates for August free dining usually it's a week to ten days earlier... I think that may be what Disneylover99 was asking about.

edit... - should have read ahead before replying, I see Disneylover99 has already replied! lol...

It is a half marathon and will be pretty busy. I have been there for the past three half marathons and while crowded it wasn't super bad. All trips I have been able to do everything I wanted. This year will be hard to gauge though as they added an extra race and switched the races from night races to morning races and moved the after party to SUnday night.

I was wondering the same thing about 1/2 marathon week. We have some flexibility in our dates and would like to be at WDW for any 6 nights between 10/15 and 11/6. Having a hard time deciding on which week. Of course if FD is added to include some late October dates then it would be a no-brainer. But if they don't offer FD then we would like to try to hit the week with the lowest crowds.

Any thoughts, anyone?

If no free dinning and you want low crowds the week of Oct 29 would be your best bet.

I'm happy if the release dates are August 23rd, but I'd be even happier if the release dates for Canadians was August 20th or earlier. That would give me two weeks of FD. :)
