My family of four typically stays at CBR and always gets a room with a Murphy bed.

I'm just learning today that all rooms at CBR have the Murphy bed except the pirate rooms!

That's not true. We had two connecting rooms last September, one had the Murphy bed and the other did not.

Wow. Just started following this thread yesterday. So much added. I have a quick question. Is there a way to pay for my deposit via check? I know there used to be and they gave you between 7-14 days to send it in. Now it seems like if I reserve online I can't find that option.

Disney phone lines open up at 7am eastern. You can call every day at that time and ask if there are any new offers like FD for DV holders. While on the phone, bring up this thread online and see if anyone has posted that it's live. Sometimes we get emails from Chase that describes the deal, but they usually come after the deal went live on the phones. And sometimes the emails don't come at all. You can also check the DV rewards page for offers.

Do you all remember the mess in 2014 when Chase sent out emails too early and people were calling in the day before the offer was live? Some people were able to book and others were not.

I have a guess that maybe DV release will be Apr 21 and GP on the 25th. Others have said Apr 25 for DV and May 2 for GP but a week of gap seems big! What do you all think?

Not true. We had a room in Martinque 24 this past September (wasn't a connecting room like PP's room) and it didn't have a Murphy bed.

I am not sure if anyone else has noticed, but October has decreased in numbers in the survey at the top of the thread steadily since the rumored dates have come out.

Dang it! Today an agent told me that information about the Murphy bed and she for sure seemed like she knew her stuff. That's the only reason I posted it.

Looks like I am going to be requesting a bunch of stuff and I hate that...

Yup. Cause most people just book with deposit if waiting for free dining. Something tells me October will have a week as well. Hope so. I'll even take room discount. Especially if you are required to have park hopper or if it's just quick service for a mod. Might be better off with room discount.

Anyone else tried modifying recently and had issues? I was trying to change my dates - not for FD, but to dates rumored to have it anyway. Every time I change the date it does the Woody loading screen, then goes back to the change screen with the original dates still there.

Edit: Of course after 20 minutes of fighting with it, I post here, and suddenly it works!

Hi, everyone. Thank you for the well wishes. Still struggling a bit with pain today, but trying my best to catch up on all of the dates rumored. I'm sure a lot of this has already been covered, and I apologize for repeating info, but I just can't read through the whole thread right now, so here are my thoughts as best as I can express them...

With regards to the start date...
Seems strange to have the promo begin earlier than the fd bounceback. Usually the bounceback is more generous for August than the public offer.

With regards to October...
It wouldn't shock me if the lack of dates is accurate. Having gone the last 7 out of 9 Octobers, with 6 of those being the last 6 years, it has become extremely crowded the entire month. Nothing like Christmas crowded, of course, but compared to what it was even just 3 years ago, the crowds have really become heavy.

With regards to November's dual sets of dates...
That short second set of dates just seems unnecessary to me. Bookings must really be down for those dates to actually be offered.

On the release date, I'll just go with 4/25 because it's my birthday. Lol

So yeah... That's all I can manage to say at the moment. I hope everyone can get a good deal this fall. Don't forget to look for agency exclusive offers if things don't fall into place for you. We're booked for Columbus week again this year, but that was with the expectation we would upgrade our June bounceback tickets to APs. That may depend on the medical bill fallout. Adulting is hard sometimes. Lol

Smitch, great to see you join and really appreciate your thoughts on it. Octobers have definitely gotten busier, particularly the last few years. Would love to see what you think about the first window in November (15-21), that really seemed kind of strange not starting it on the Sunday (13th) after Jersey week and having it run all the way into Thanksgiving week.

Thank you for your reply. She is doing well enough right now, and does not need a transplant yet, so she would not qualify. Many kids with her condition do go on a Make a Wish trip because they are in worse shape. I am thankful she is doing so well. I am determined to find a way to make this work. I am just really hoping a good deal will remove some of the financial stress. We have had to put quite a bit of money into medical bills over the years. I don't think a room discount will make much of a difference, but the dining could be huge.

Have you checked with the Children's Wish Foundation? - it is different to Make A Wish and I believe would have different qualifiers.

Instead of releasing FD first to DV members or the GP they should have an early release for DIS members.
