Omg. My dining reservations are tomorrow.

You filthy mongrels will make the system crash and block up phone lines! :P
On the positive, everyone else will have that problem, maybe that'll help you get what you want. Good luck!!

Did the prices go up for anyone else? I just looked for availability and it was 300$ more for the same exact hotel and tickets I already have booked...

Just mimicking that they'll go to families of 5 first, but you can guarantee a pull down bed by booking a preferred room at POR. They all have them. Not sure about CBR.

Good point about POR as all Aligator Bayou rooms have the bunk bed. That is not the case for CBR as they don't have the different themes like POR.

Nervous about Monday, we have already booked so I have to wait and try and call in at 7am :/

You can modify your reservation online or book a new one and cancel the old.

New question (I think) I have read both threads... Am a quiet FD stalker. haha.

Anyway, if and when we get FD can you then later modify the number of days your tickets are for without having to make a new reservation and chance losing FD? For example I plan on getting a 6 day PH but once I book airfare could I increase it to say 7 or 8 day PH in case my flights are early or late, allowing us to be in the park an extra day. I have learned Disney does not permit changes to the number of nights on your reservation without rebooking but I was unsure about tickets.

Thanks for your help. I love reading all the info. I feel like I have found my people. Disney love!

I just cleared my computer and checked the price of my package again (because while I wait for fd what else would I do)...and it's over 400 more

Unfortunately, yes. When the ticket prices increased in February, this is the result. If you aren't adding a promotion, you would still get the old price (if you booked it before then). Obviously, you are here for FD, so when/if you get it, you will have to pay the new price. So whatever price you are seeing now (minus dining of course) is the new price. I'm sorry :sad2:
(Someone feel free to correct me if I'm giving wrong information, this is what I have picked up by reading this thread and checking my own prices)

Notice the dates that it mentions for POR too. Hmmm...
I suspect those date for POR are right, although being through Air Canada this is the Canadian version which looks like it will once again start earlier Aug 14 vs. Aug 23.

Yes you can increase your ticket days no problem. You can do that online or at guest relations.

If your current reservation was booked before the ticket prices went up, then you are looking at the new cost for tickets, which you will have to pay if you make any changes to your existing reservation.

You can change the days of your tickets any time before the paid in full date. I don't know if you can add a day after the paid in full date, though. You can also add a day once you are there, although your fp+ selections will be limited.

LOL!!!!!!!! I feel your pain! The last few trips that I really had a Must DO dining list were nightmares on my 180 day marker. THe first time BOG offered lunch ADRs that same day, and the second there was some promotion offered. Each time the entire system crashed.

The dining lady I was talking to was getting really annoyed. (I have a split stay)

"I have a split stay. Can you just... Do me a solid here?"
"No."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"On a scale of 1-10, how sure are you?"

Ticket changes aren't a problem! It's day changes that'll get ya.

Ok that would be great how do I modify to add the FD I already have dining plan booked as well

Calling and voicing displeasure that there have been no early DV offers is a great idea. Perhaps if enough people cancel their card as a result of this the message will be loud and clear.
Have 2 DV- Reg and Premier. I'm going to cancel the premier soon so I will be voicing my displeasure then and citing it as reason for cancelation (even tho it's not, really)

There will be a modify button *maybe* if it decides to work that day.

Ok... so I am up with you all for the duration...maybe...I changed my reservation yesterday from one family suite at AOA to two rooms at POR, since my check in date is Oct 1. I was going to change it to 2 rooms at Pop Century-would have been about a $1000 dollar cheaper stay for my family than AOA, and with 6 Disney adults (my kids will be 17, 15, and 12 yr old twins), 2 rooms will probably be more comfortable anyway. Well, hubby and I looked at it, and crunched more numbers-and it would actually still be cheaper to get 2 garden view rooms at POR, it looks to be included in FD for our arrival, and it looks so nice! I called and had a wonderful CM switch my hotel from AOA to POR (took a couple of hours on the phone-which makes me nervous for tomorrow). However, it isn't right in MDE yet, and there is no change/modify button yet, only the cancel, so I am crossing my fingers and hoping you guys will send some pixie dust my way that it is straightened out before tonight. If it is, I am up for the duration! If not, I will go to bed so that I have the patience to be on the phone ALLL.DAY.LONG tomorrow, but I'll be up early to stalk these boards and celebrate with everyone who gets what they want. So exciting!!

If you go to your MDE account and click on reservations there should be a chance reservation button. If it says to call try hitting refresh. From there you can select edit your package and then it should give you the option of applying a new discount.

If you don't see the change reservation option after a couple refreshes I would try booking a new one.
