2016 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: September 14 - November 14, 2016

At the end of August it was gone from the stand. Unknown if temporarily or permanently. They had no Unibroue on tap outside but the "shop bar" had a bottled one (it wasn't Fin)

I just checked EasyWDW, and I believe La Fin Du Monde is still there in Canada unless I read the wrong post. La Fin appears to be made by Unibroue.

The Canada beer cart was behind a construction wall over Labor Day weekend and the popcorn cart portion only (which is separate from the beer taps) was off to the left, so they only had bottled beer. I assume this was a temporary change as Josh's picture did show that the beer cart/popcorn stand had been returned to its previous Fin Du Monde glory. I know this because I don't think I have been to Epcot without a Fin du Monde until that Labor Day weekend travesty! It's very good.

A few of our standouts were:
FOOD:
Hawaii - Poke salad
Patagonia - Roasted Salmon with Quinoa
South Korea - Korean style BBQ Beef

DRINKS:
France - La Passion Martini Slush (I had 2 of these, pricey but good!)
Refreshment Port - Dole Whip with Rum and the Dragon Berry Refresher (we had 2 of these)
China - Kung Fu Punch
Refreshment Cool Post - Frozen Brown Elephant (again a little pricey but was SOO good)
My husband tried LOTS of different beers and I tasted most of them. The Two Henry's Blueberry Vanilla at the Craft Beers booth stood out to me.

Desserts:
This is where I told my husband we failed and needed another day for these. I did try a waffle from Belgium that was really good as well at the Liquid Chocolate Nitro and that was good as well.

For the most part I liked everything with the exception of one dish. We tried the Mussels in New Zealand and all I can say is horrible. I had read else where that they were good but not the ones we got. My husband said they were over cooked. Really bad!

Thanks for the tips! I was planning on skipping the mussels anyway. I keep reading positive reports about the Korean beef, and YUM on those drinks! Dole whip with rum sounds very refreshing.

It has been insanely hot the past few days and there has been a lot of rain - downpours. Friday night Starship shows - two were canceled. But we saw them Saturday and Sunday night. Awesome. Taking a day off. I need to pace myself - we're here for 7 more weeks!

Were we at the same Epcot Friday night? I saw no downpours (there was a 20 min storm in the afternoon but it cleared quickly) and I went to the 6:45 and 8pm Starship shows. Both started late, but they happened.

Forgive me if this has been asked (did a quick search), but has anyone been able to use their 'Quick Service' credits for 3 snacks at the food and wine booths so far (the way the can be used at other Disney QS locations)?

There were positive and negative attempts last year, and just wondering what the consensus is so far :-)

Answering my own question for anyone who may interested:

NO PROBLEM at all getting 3 'snacks' at a Food and Wine booth and using a 'quick service' credit for them :-)

Thank-you for the update!
Earlier reports were that you had to get all 3 snacks at the same F&W booth. Was that your experience as well?

Does anyone know if the jalapeño margarita at the Mexico booth is the same as the one they serve at Cava? I saw someone report, can't recall if it was on here or on twitter, that they witnessed someone blow up because the drinks at the booth were pre-mixed. Truth be told, I have been to Cava and they had them pre-mixed there too, so that doesn't seem to shock me.

I wonder about the Italian margarita. It's on the menu at the gelato stand for the same price as the kiosk. I want to know if it's the same drink and size at both locations.

Even the passion fruit frozen drink at the France kiosk--is it the same size as the Grand Marnier and Grey Goose slushies that they sell year round at the French liquor cart?

Wait. What?!? 7 weeks??

As far as I know they come and go based on supply. Unibroue is a relatively small brewery, bigger then most crafts in Canada, but still small. It also has contracts with Royal Caribbean to supply their various ships (especially the Celebrity and Azamara). Btw I thought the shop bar at Canada closed?

I think Josh at easywdw just noticed that Unibroue is now back at the Canada stand. So Yaay! if it stays. :-)
Is it popular in Canada? Not really. At least not in Ontario. I love it but it is considered a higher-end "craft" type beer so not commercially as popular as Blue, Canadian, Sleeman's, etc.

Ontario is weird, our beer selection is controlled by the Molson/Labatt/Sleeman's cartel. But you can still easily find unibroue products. They make an imitation beer champagne that is not bad. But as good as the real Belgian/French ones but alright.

Attended the Italian lunch at Tutto Gusto yesterday. Amazing.

1. Lobster salad with caviar dressing
2. Egg pasta with mushrooms & white truffle
3. Pork with brussel sprouts
4. A cheese selection - i do not eat cheese. I was presented with a beautiful fruit plate. That was so nice and very applicated.
5. Tiramisu - the best I ever had. And huge.

Wines perfectly paired and flowing

Edited to add - they were also pouring bottled still & sparkling water. Easy to stay hydrated! Very nice touch!

Lasted just over 2 1/2 hours. We were seated with one other couple and had a blast!!

If this lunch is in your plans you are lucky! Go hungry & thirsty :)

Very well done!

If trading quick service for snacks, you have to get the 3 snacks from the same booth, and you must order all of them at the same time. They can't separate out the credit so you can get them from different booths.

Pre-mixed saves time. Pre-mixed should be expected from the booth (also the CMs who work in the booth are not bartenders), and it also happens at La Cava. You can get one made there, if they are not very busy.

Totally agree about the pre-mixed expectations. Wouldn't expect different.

I'm just wondering if it's the same ingredients used at the food booth as it is in La Cava for the Margarita. If so, that's a great 2 birds, 1 stone time save, since we will be getting food from the booth anyway.

Indeed. All at once.

But that being said:

Two Filet mignons and a cheese soup for a quick serve credit. It feels like cheating ;-)

I'm excited to use up some QS credits while there and very happy to hear that the exchange for snack credits has been working. I am wondering though...could you get two food items and a water as a QS exchange? (I'm all for trying the different drinks around the world -- and paying OOP for them -- but DH doesn't really drink and would prefer to grab a water instead.

If the bottle of water counts as a snack (there should be a snack logo beside it on the menu), then yes, so long as you get it at the same booth where you get the food.
