2016 Eat To The Beat Concert Series

At least Disney Parks Blog finally posted a few WDW articles today. Maybe there's still hope???

People attending today's TiW Food and Wine Festival preview are reporting that info on the menus, special events, etc will be posted on July 11th. Hopefully this will include the Eat to the Beat concert schedule.

 

[Accident]

There was a hint that bands that might be attending was the background music at the event today.

Bands i remember are:
Tiffany
Boys ii men
Living colour
Wilson phillips
Blues traveller
Backstreet boys (maybe, not 100%) but it was an 80s boy band.

There was others but i couldnt positively say who they are so others might have more to add.

They did mention 9 new acts.

Backstreet Boys are a 90's boy band They aren't touring now and it seems like an odd thing for them to do given how popular their last tour was with whoever they went with, NKOTB maybe, which would be an 80's boy band They are my childhood and college days.

I'm about 90% sure it was the "backstreets back" song that was playing in the background. I was too busy eating and talking to people and by the time I thought I should write some of these songs down the event ended.

I feel like Backstreet Boys still have way too big of a following to play this. They play very large venues when they tour.

Could it have been 98°? I know people have asked them if they would play Epcot before.

I'm thinking the same thing, that's too big for just this show, they can still fill arenas and why I think I'm wrong but there is definitely a boy band in the line up. I emailed a bunch of the media that was there to see if anyone recorded the song to tell me who it was

Backstreet Boys def have a huge following for their concerts, so I would be both excited and pumped if they perform. But Boys II Men have a huge following on their concerts and even have a vegas show, so I would consider them a pretty solid act for Eat To The Beat. I would still think BSB has a bigger following then B2M.

Awesome! Our dates are still TBD (Sept. 21-23) but I'm hoping we get a band I at least know too.

I just checked the Disney Food Blog site in the link above, and they show "Boyz II Men, The Bo Deans, and Living Colour - Confirmed, Unknown Dates". The Bo Deans would be pretty cool! Still a little bummed about the erroneous listing for Survivor.

Living Colour surprises me. Hard rock, politics... how exciting. I saw them a year or two back now. They put on an awesome show and are a GREAT band. My family won't be thrilled, but if they were there for our Epcot day, I would die.
