2016 Eat To The Beat Concert Series

I honestly won't be surprised if this doesn't happen until July or August. This has been pathetic. I feel like the 5/13 announcement of some of the acts was there way of saving face for an announcement because of the extended amount of time for the Food and Wine festival. Disney is making it harder and harder to plan trips in advance even though they push it.

Just spoke to a rep. They confirmed our fears. Nothing announced until mid July beginning of August.

Please tell me you're joking???
Wish I was. I told them this seems later than usual. And they said since it starts in September. They anticipated a mid July beginning of August timeframe for any schedules to be announced.

That's usually when the detailed information is released for the beverage seminars, culinary demos, party for the senses, and other special events. Sounds like they're going to release everything regarding the Food and Wine Festival at the same time.

Could it be that they are having trouble filling some dates with groups people are actually interested in?

Now I'm just hoping for Wilson Phillips on my Epcot day. Or some amazing thing to be announced for Nov 2.

Toad the Wet Sprocket would've been fun...but still nothing for my dates.... **please please please let it be Hanson!!!!! lol**

Apparently my sister and I both asked at the same time about the Eat to the Beat schedule (couldn't see each other's posts because they were in moderation) on their Sounds Like Summer blog post. This was the response:

"Katy and Elizabeth – The Talent Booking team tells me they’re close to finalizing the line-up for this year’s Eat to the Beat concert series, so we hope to have an announcement about that soon on Disney Parks Blog."

So I know that doesn't really tell us much. But at least we know they haven't forgotten! :)

I know there's a few of these threads going on, but I couldn't find the others.

I still wanna know why DFB insists Survivor is Oct. 24-25, when the band's own website and Pollstar have them listed as playing Annapolis on Oct. 25. It can't be right, and then it makes me wonder how accurate the entire list is...

Even though the list may not be accurate but it is the only thing that we have.

Well, it looks like all my hopes and dreams have been shattered....Hanson has something else going on Sept. 23, so they can't be my dates. lol

My gf is in the Hanson fan club. They went to Hanson day in Tulsa a few weeks ago. They asked Zach. He wouldn't tell them the exact date. Instead said "we'll be there around the time people wear masks"

Ok, well I went ahead and booked for around the time that "people wear masks" because I can't take it anymore! lol Hopefully, I was accurate enough with my guessing otherwise I'll have to make changes later.
