I would like to book something for April 2016. When does this booking window usually open?

The package rate come out July/August time frame. If you're booking a room only you can book 499 days in advance. You'll be quoted the highest rate from 2015, but it will be adjusted when the 2016 rates come out.

Has anyone done this? Will the reservation show on you MDE and can you pay upfront? I'm renting DVC for a trip in March 2016 but would like to add an extra day so was going to just book that night through Disney.
