Hi- when does everyone expect 2016 cruises to go on sale?

We have one booked for the fall of 2015, but think we'll have to push it back due to the new addition to the family. Not sure I fancy taking a <1yr old on a transatlantic flight.

Thanks
Stevey

The cruises for January to April 2016 are out " soon" these will be the Bahamas and Caribbean runs only.

The more interesting releases post April 2016 will not be out until Spring 2015.

I am waiting just like you, looking for Caribbean in October 2016 on the Fantasy. Just patiently waiting till next year when they release those most likely.

Next week I will bet. :-)

Q: what will be found in greater amount next week;

1) the number of 2016 Disney Cruises announced?
2) the number of threads started on this forum asking when the 2016 Disney Cruises will be announced?

i say its two....

Just heard from my TA that early 2016 may be announced on Monday then open to platinum on Tuesday and everyone else Wednesday.

I sure hope it's this week!

I want to book a 2016 spring break cruise on the Fantasy. I will try to time it around the third week of March when the our school normally has it but they have moved it to the fourth some years.

Will I be able to change the week (and pay the same fare) if I guess the wrong week and need to change? The 2016 school schedule won't come out till August of next year.

No. You only lock in the rate for the cruise you are booking. If you think that's a real concern, can you book both weeks?

This was going to be my suggestion as well and I've had to do this and glad I did for our 2014 Spring Break as they changed it up on us. I can tell you Spring Break, especially near Easter was "insane" compared to 2013. The prices did go up a decent pace so for that reason, knowing you won't be certain until August, I'd definitely do both weeks if you could, then cancel the extra accordingly.

Yep! Huge increase! I just couldn't pull the trigger on the Fantasy. We ended up booking the Dream 4 nighter instead. I would LOVE to do the Fantasy over spring break - but just can't justify the outrageous holiday fares DCL is now charging. :sad2:

We got lucky with the Dream prices being fairly reasonable. Perhaps we'll see the same thing for 2016.

I can cancel one of the weeks and will get a full refund on deposit?

I did book it initially and at first, was able to move a dummy to it (before they had the black out dates) but even with that it was choking me to think of the difference in price. Then Norway came out and well, you know the rest of the story :) You are right - we had the Wonder booked for Spring Break (4 nights) which was $1700 for a 7A vs $6000 for 8A on the Fantasy for Spring Break. We moved up the Wonder to December to save another $600. I can hope the Spring Break prices won't be INSANE but I'm thinking they will be, again.

I know you already had an answer to just adding another, yes you can cancel before your deadline for a full refund :)

Thanks everyone, I may forego a 2015 disney cruise and book a spring break one if the price is not totally insane. Next year, I may just do a more reasonably priced cruise on a different line.

You might also want to look at Thanksgiving week if that suits your schedule. I have found those prices to be a little better than other school holiday times. Good luck!
