2015 Rate Watch

Resorts part is working for me now also. Hopefully this means those 2015 rates are in there and ready to be released really soon! Probably not but I can hope.

This is what I'm hoping also! It seems that the website goes really crazy each year when the are getting close to releasing rates. Maybe that means early next week could happen!! :scared1:

I haven't had any luck and i've been trying :( The site is working fine for me again.

When you book so far in advance, (I'm hoping to book July 2015) do you base any planning on the promos that have historically been offered, such as free dining or room discounts? The last two yrs I booked much closer to our travel time and the room discounts were already out. I knew we were able to afford the better resort due to the discount.

Same here, planning for December 1-9th at the world then universal the 9-13th. Our second trip, first was January 2014. I didn't book until October 2013 that time and thankfully got the ADR's I wanted. This time around, I'm waiting with the credit card in hand to book ASAP. Also coming from canada, toronto to be exact. Happy planning!

I'm also coming from Canada (Hamilton) and going December 1-10 2015. It's our first trip and I am constantly checking on every break I get at work and I'm hovering after work in anticipation of booking.

We're unfortunately set on our days. But I'm booking with a promo in mind. I looked up the historical discounts during our travel time and am going to factor that into our cost. Now god forbid they don't offer the discount that sucks for us, but I'm planning for that also.

I'm pretty set on the dates I picked but I am basing our costs on regular prices that are up this year. I know they will be a bit more than this year and if I happen to get a discount I will be pleasantly surprised. I am one to consistently over budget though.

We usually go the last week of May/first week of June and our trips have extended out to two weeks now. I can be a little flexible on our dates by a day or two but not by much. Usually, what I book is what we keep as far as dates go. I know for at least the last four or five and possible more annual trips, I haven't paid rack rates because of a general public offer which covers our travel time.

Last time I booked in October for January 2-11, and as u mentioned the promos were already out and their was play, stay and dine and 30% off room only for that time frame I believe so I was able to decide right away which was better for us.. Now I'm booking like 1.5 years in advance so it's a bit harder!

2015 means all of 2015 so October is the same as January.

Really!? So they won't release a few months at a time but the whole year? That would be great! I booked my march ( this last march ) trip July 31st of last year so MAYBE they will release them soon! I was told about a month ago via chat that they wouldn't release the dates till after summer, hope not!

Where r u looking at staying? Or are u still deciding?

I always budget based on having no promotions or deals. I rather realize I have extra money then not enough! Especially cause I'm gonna take the amount of our trip and divide it over so many months and pay it off that way each month. I'm pretty set on my dates as well, I could move them closer by a few weeks if I absolutely had to but if I push them back we would be there till like the 24th or even longer (in dec) which I refuse to do!

We are staying at POP, I've toyed with the idea of POFQ but I think POP is more our style.

Im thinking pop century, I looked this year to see what wasn't included as far as resorts go for free dining and other promotions, just to make sure if I do go with a promotion I'm not picking a resort that's excluded.

That was the reason why I chose POP over AoA. I like the theming at AoA too but the regular rooms don't usually include discounts. I'm hoping that free dining will be available for those dates next year, they were available last year and the year before but this year skipped right over the beginning of December.

When we stayed in January, we did a split stay, a few days at all star movies and then the cars suit at AOA - sons a massive cars fan, and it was his first visit so he was over the moon!

Sounds fun, my little guy likes Cars but he loves Ratatouille and The Incredibles and I also have 2 older sons that really love the whole retro theme and wow this is how mom grew up kinda feel. I love that AoA is such a short walk away too, we will be able to check out some of the things they have over there as well. I've heard a lot of good things about both POP and AoA. If the family suites weren't so much more expensive I probably would have considered staying there a little more.

That's why I did the split stay cause it was too much to stay the entire time in the family suits. My son will be almost 2 years older this time around.. He was almost 8 and this time he'll be almost 10 so I'm thinking if we stay at POP he might enjoy a change in scenery.

Still no 2015 dates as of 6:30 eastern time today. I'm getting so impatient. It would all seem so much more real if I could just book the trip and move on to planning everything else.
