2015 Rate Watch

Our Easter trip is in the works ~ April 2-12. We'll have two family suites at AOA. Three if my sister and I can talk my parents into going.:wizard::wizard:

Well be there with you the 2nd to the 10th. But probably at the Poly or Bay lake.

Because it costs a LOT of $$$$ to fly to the US , and they tend to stay 2 weeks or more. Not sure that a trip of the magnitude could typically be planned for in 6 months or less. It is the same reason they only offer UK visitors "double discounts" - a Disney Vacation is a large financial and time commitment. Disney understands that and makes the trip as inviting as they can for overseas visitors.

I guess my point is, if they have the rates for European visitors, why don't they have rates for US visitors? Just wondering....

I'm not from USA and still cannot reserve!

Glad I found post.. guess this is why on the site you can't go past 12/31/14 ?? They won't let you make any ressies or even look at possible dates yet?? :confused3
Have you tried calling? They may allow you to book a room only rate(at the current rate)then adjust it when the 2015 rates are released.

Why do UK guests get to book before US guests? I saw on another thread that people in UK were already booked for August of next year.

Anyone know?
I really hate this. I like to book our trips as early as possible, then make payments each pay day.

Some Americans are able to and willing to to stay for extended trips as well. Unless you're loaded, a Disney trip is a huge financial commitment for many on this side of the pond as well. Some people save for years just to take a once in a lifetime trip.

I can understand offering different discounts based on where you live, but not allowing everyone to at least book ASAP is just odd.

I am waiting along with the rest of you! I am trying to plan a first time ever visit to Disney World for hubby and I, along with our children and grand-children. I need those prices desperately so I can start making payments and work up a budget!

I'm waiting as well, hoping for a trip April 29th - May 5th, for my daughter's 8th birthday. My family wants to stay off property to save money, my girlfriend and her family want to stay on property. I'm wondering when the actual discounts for that time will be popping up.

I tried to have the new promotion applied to the existing reservation and they would not do this and i received the following:-

Often, as in your case, you may find that you confirmed before a
particular promotional rate or offer is made available, however you
benefit from the abundance of resort availability, allowing you to
guarantee the location of your choice.

Regrettably, we will not be able to honour our new offer or pricing to
your current reservation. To take advantage of this current offer you
must cancel this reservation which would be subject to all applicable
fees and penalties as outlined in the Walt Disney Travel Company Booking
Terms and Conditions.

I did end up cancelling, losing the deposit and rebooking last year however want to avoid having to do this again. Any help would be appreciated.

Never heard that. We have always been able to get discounts applied that were announced after we booked. I wonder if it is an international thing. :confused3

Count me in as someone not so patiently waiting for 2015 rates! Looking to go January 2-12:cool1:

I am also waiting for 2015 prices.... Would like to go in Nov or Dec staying at Pop Century or All-Star Movie's. But I do have my deposit all ready for when the prices come out :cool1:

We have our deposit ready too! Just waiting to be able to book and I can pay half of the trip up front :)

Ugh, try flying from Australia!! It's costing us 2-3 times what it would cost from the UK. Sadly we can't book any earlier either! Hanging out to get this locked in as flights are booked so we are not flexible at all!!

I was planning a 10 night Disney stay starting May 23 2015, but decided to go with a Royal Caribbean cruise instead. I wish Disney would post future rates at least 1 year in advance like the cruise lines do. I would have loved to plan our family reunion at Disney, but I needed the rates to do so.
Hopefully we can squeeze in a couple of days at Disney after the cruise, I really need a dole whip!:lmao:

I'm joining the watch party! We aren't positive on our dates yet though. Probably February--the super crowded presidents weekend that overlaps Mardi Gras. It's going to be a bear. But the week after Easter or last week of May are our other options and with 4 kids, none sound great as far as crowd management goes.

Now 2016 will be a different story! Mardi Gras is so early that year that we will be enjoying the first week of February. Can't wait!

I'm watching for the 2015 rates as well, planning a trip with kids & grand kids, my first trip in over 30 years, we will be celebrating my husbands retirement & my grandsons birthday, I can't wait!

Just got back from wdw last night. Already trying to plan next years vacation. It will be the first vacation with my bf just the two of us.

I am waiting with the rest of you. Going next October or November. Been ready to book for awhile now, but I know rates don't come out until August sometimes, so not surprised they are not out yet. I want a package, so want to book as a package to start with. Booking a room only now, and switching over to a package is just extra work.

Playing the waiting game here as well! We just got back in June from a great one week trip. Wanted to try to get back this year, but decided to wait for next May when we can be there for a week and add the dining plan. Can't wait!!!! I am ready to book!!:cool1:
