I'm at 1:24 right now. Feeling kind of queezey.
I ended up just booking Pop Century, upgraded the dining plan and saved ~$300 vs. our estimate for Standard View CSR. Very bad business model by Disney to not release more Standard Rooms at the Mods.
oh my word. I have a TA working on adding my free dining. I just looked at our MDE and nothing has changed. I am so worried that we will not be able to get this...ugh
Does anyone think there might be a small chance that they might add a few more rooms at the various resorts that have limited or no bookings left, in a day or two? With only Pirate rooms at CBR, no availability at Pop Century, and having to book 6 nights /7 days instead of the 4 nights /5 days that we originally planned ,makes this offer not very appealing to us. I am maybe willing to add nights and rethink my vacation, but would like some sort of resort preference. Looks like we may postpone Disney until 2016.
Happy for those that this works for though.![]()
They are going to do a referb on the pirate rooms. I can't remember if it is supposed to be completed by Aug or Oct though. Don't know if the beds will grow like the other other referbs they did though. The only things I know is that they did NOT upgrade the size of the beds when they did the rest of the resort. Pirate rooms are still full size instead of queen and they are really far away from the food court. Two huge negatives in my mind so we booked preferred POP instead.
Did you do it? Upgrade I mean.
An hour and 3 minutes and still dead silence after I entered all of my info on the phone.I gave up and hung up I was at an hour and 34 mins but is anyone still an hour + on the phone?
I'm in the exact same boat. I should have known better than to book with a TA...I'm too much of a control freak!
Good for you! I can't find a moderate to book.no, i didnt, couldnt afford it. but i did snag FD at CSR for my dates![]()
I WOULD love to switch from CBR to Beach Club. I think it's totally worth $500, but that's my dream resort as we spend tons of time at Epcot.Nothing in a moderate category was available for my family of 5. It looks like the Beach Club with free dining is only $500 more than our bounce back price at the Caribbean Beach. I might have to snag that. Decisions, decisions.... I didn't expect for it really to drop today and everything was unavailable by 6:45 am.
I already had an existing reservation at pop century for Sept 12-19( booked two rooms) but because the other family traveling with us are on a budget we ended up switching to all-star sport's resort which saved us 70$ per reservation. Once I added on the water park we only ended up paying 165$ more at sports. It would have been 250$ at pop century. I was able to do this on mde at 5:30am and thank god it only took about 15min to do. There seemed to be enough availability at pop, all star music and sports. My TA is on hold trying to change our reservation. Anybody had trouble getting early weeks in september?? I've never been good at the waiting game.....
