So is target the best option for gift cards/trips at a discount? I do have a target credit card and debit card if that's the case. Are there any other ways to get discounted gift cards that people know of?

It depends on where you live and how you shop. Sam's Club/Costco/BJs all have discount cards, I think they are around 4% off.

Here in Ohio we have Giant Eagle and for every $50 you spend on groceries or gift cards you get 10 cents a gallon (up to 30 gallons) off of gas. It's not money off the card but it's money in my pocket and the savings works out to be about 6%.

I was online at 5am and couldn't modify my reservation. I didn't risk it, I just booked a new reservation. My MDE account is still messed up.

Exactly. I'm sure there are also people who tried for far too long to modify their reservation with no luck, and by the time they tried to book a new one all the commotion had started. Not to mention people whose TA's were on first thing in the morning and were having issues right off the bat.

You can't add dining at all, you can't add FD, or you'd have to switch to a different resort to get FD?

There's a 'magical agency' but those bookings don't allow for the dining plan at all to be added. I think they're conference rates or something.

I can't add it at all. My dates don't qualify for FD. The magical deal is probably conference rate.

My dates were not available for POR, but I was able to get The Yacht Club with FD for almost the same price as POR & paying for dining. I have never been to DW. I really hope it was the right decision and my kids enjoy the Yacht Club.

I go buy the discounted cards at Sam's Club saving the $7 per card there, use my disney visa to buy those cards to get 1% back on that as well. Then open the disney vacation account and add the gift cards, then pay for my trip out of that and earn the gift cards they offer. Does this sound right?

I use my visa check card at my sams all the time and have it run as credit. Never tried the Disney visa since I just got it.

Oh and I just ordered some carmike cinemas gift cards from sams club online today. I used my disney visa then. So if it worked online shouldn't it in the store?

I think I'm going to give up on a POP standard room coming available for my dates and just get excited about trying the All Stars for the first time.

We are staying at All-Stars for the first time this year too! Our other 3 trips have all been POP. I am nervous but excited a small change! And very grateful for Free Dining!

Sam's Club is little weird about what payment forms they accept. They accept Visa debit cards, but not credit cards.

Yep. In store Visa debit is ok, and online anything goes....well probably not anything..lol

WHY CAN'T I USE THE MODIFY OR MAKE A PAYMENT LINK ON MDE!!!!!! Yes I used all caps, because I am yelling Disney, please get it together. When I call IT they are like...yeah we know some people can and some people cant....well dang. lol Sorry just needed to get it out.

When we went to make our deposit on Monday it said you could only use 4 cards total. We had no need to try to push for more. We have done more than 4 over the phone.

Okay, for the deposit, that may be so. For the balance, fire away!!
