Garden Rocks? That's the new name of Epcot's concert series
Disney World has announced the lineup for the concert series tied to the 2015 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.* And the event formerly known as Flower Power will now be called the Garden Rocks Concert Series.
The lineup appears less groovy than it has been historically. The only group rooted in the 1960s is Herman's Hermit starring Peter Noone, although the '70s are represented by several artists.
The schedule, subject to change, includes:
+ March 6-8: Gin Blossoms
+ March 13-15: Pablo Cruise
+ March 20-22: En Vogue
+ March 27-29: Starship
+ April 3-5: The Orchestra starring former members of ELO
+ April 10-12: Village People
+ April 17-19: Jon Secada
+ April 24-26: The Guess Who
+ May 1-3: Taylor Dayne
+ May 8-10: Little River Band
+ May 15-17: Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone
Each group performs three times daily -- 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. -- at the park's America Gardens Theatre. The concerts are included in regular Epcot admission.

The name change is obviously due to the fact that they're going away from the 60's groups.Even for Food and Wine 5-6 years ago a majority of the groups were 60's groups and they've pretty much disappeared at that festival with a few exceptions.As far as the lineup I've seen Starship,Guess Who and Herman's Hermits multiple times,like double digits for Starship and Herman's Hermits so these three groups are favorites.Saw Village People once and they were also very good and would like to see them again,saw Gin Blossoms once and although they were also pretty good I'm in no rush to see them again,once is enough.As far as the rest of the lineup I think I feel the same about them as I do Gin Blossoms there's some groups in there I would like to see but I'm not jumping up and down to make sure I see them.I always like to schedule my trips this time of year to see multiple concerts at the parks,Mardi Gras at Universal,Bands Brew and BBQ at Sea World and the new Food and Wine festival at Busch Gardens,they all have concerts so now I just have to figure out when to go and who to see at each park,aside from my favorites the rest of the Epcot concerts are a bit of a letdown

True, but this is the Mickey Thomas led Starship group that mostly plays their 80's hits with one or two 60's songs thrown in.

Saw a partial list a week or so ago and at that time, the date for Gin Blossoms was TBA. I for one am glad they'll be there when DH and I are! Saw them years ago with Spin Doctors and really liked them

Wanna trade?! They will be there during my visit , and I have no interest in seeing them. Was reeeaaaally hoping Gin Blosssoms would play 4/10-4/12. Saw them during F and W a few years ago and they were amazing!
