2014 WDW Gay Days meets planned?

We will be in WDW on an extended family trip the week leading up to Gay Days (actually getting bumped from our Grand Villa at AKL on Thursday night!), then staying when everyone else leaves on Saturday.

Just wondered if there were any DIS meets being planned for Saturday or Sunday?

Hey there, I see no one's responded yet. There are typically meet ups each day during Gay Days week. This year, that would be June 5th through June 9th (really the 8th in terms of Disney). Each day is a different park, and then meetups accordingly. Saturday is always Magic Kingdom day and Sunday is always EPCOT day. At the MK there is always a meetup at the Dole Whip stand in the afternoon and at EPCOT, there's a big group that typically goes Drinking Around The World starting at noon in Mexico... (although this year I think we should do it in reverse Bwahahahaha!)

Great idea! Why should the Rose and Crown get all the fun of us terrorizing them? Let the Cava people see us at the end for a change!

We'll probably join in for the Dole Whip meet-up; don't drink so probably skip that one

Probably more plans as we get closer in time -- I was just so excited when I realized we'd be able to be there for Gay Days that I *had* to post right away!

While the Rose and Crown are fun for all the right AND wrong reasons it would be fun to finish the alcoholic trip with some tequila shots and a cheesy boat ride through the Mexico pavilion...

And then, if only our fairy Godmother could teleport back to Rose and Crown for some of the festivities.

I don't know about DIS meets but Sunday at Epcot there is an Event. You can find out more at One Magical Weekend's website. The event is $80 with admission (after 2pm) or $30 without. I have done it before and it is fun. They have a VIP area reserved for viewing IllumiNations Reflections of Earth.
