After Months of training for my First Marathon, It finally came and went! IN A FLASH!
I have to say it seems that each and every trip to Disney gets better and better with age! I arrived on Jan 9th and we stayed at the Hotel right across from the bus stops at DTD. I was originally suppossed to arrive on the 10th. My buddy and I went to the expo. We picked up all our race related items. Shirts and Bib numbers! WOW !!! It hit me! I am running my first Marathon at Disney! It seems like it took forever for this trip to get here! I was nervous about getting to Florida and not so much about the race. The weather across America was horrible. Plane delays galore.
The Expo was a huge success. Rundisney really knows how to do it! We didnt stand in a single line. I bought some really cool Rundisney apparel.
We then went to DTD to eat! We ate a late lunch at Wolfgang pucks. One of my favorites!
We had a guys night out. Started at Roccos tacos! AMAZING FOOD! I highly recommend! More to come!
