2014 Roll Call

A little continuation from the 2013 thread, as I am sure many already have their trip(s) booked for next year.

Post your 2014 trip dates and details here :) .

Sadly, nothing booked for me just yet, but hoping for another August trip once flights are released for that time period.

I kept skipping over this thread because I thought I had already posted to it. I just realized it says 2014 .

So..
This actually happens to be what I am planning this evening. Tentatively right now we are planning Sept 26th to October 6th. 6 or 7 nights at Disney and 3 or 4 nights at Universal.
This is subject to change as Dh will start a new job this year and who knows what the vacation time or policy will be.:confused3
Until I have that nailed down sometime in January or February I can't really book anything.
If he doesn't get any vacation time in his first year ( it may be that he has to work a full year before it can be used) then I think I plan to take the kids on my own. It's not a year I want to skip. Dd will be in the 12th grade and it will be my last year with her before she's off to University (hopefully!) so we need to do something.
So look for this to change at some point.. but ideally we're looking at the Fall.:)

We have March break booked, and are looking to take in a little spring training action at the Wide World of Sports field, as well as at Tiger Town in Lakeland. Just waiting for Major League Baseball to release its spring training schedule.

And I've booked our end-of-summer week at BLT. Already dreaming about the restaurants, and have noted my 180-day date in my calendar!

We are booked on the Disney Dream and then Bay Lake Tower for 9 nights--March 9-18. It's our first stay at BLT and I can't wait!!:cool1:

The wife and I along with our two DS's (4 & 1) will be taking our first trip to Disney World with my parents from January 27 - February 10. We have two garden view rooms at POR booked with the RO discount.

Can't wait until we do a "Disney only" vacation so we can justify an upgrade from Value! Don't get me wrong, we LOVE Pop,but would be nice to try a "nicer" resort. Our last trip we did a cruise at the end, and in 2014 we are heading to Jamaica for a week afterwards.

I know that is TOTALLY a first world problem haha

We are headed to WDW August 10-24 for our Honeymoon. Still in between a few hotels because we just got Premier Passports which was a discount we hadn't really planned for. :joker:

Our original choice was Port Orleans French Quarter, but now we are leaning towards Boardwalk Inn. Still working out some minor things as well but we are looking forward to it. :)

Not booked yet, but will be going August 2014. Most likely the 9-13 if my husbands holidays are approved for that week. At this point value resort, but with a dining plan so we can have a full Disney dream vacation. Found out a few days ago my parents are going to join us there :) First trip for my youngest two, will have been 7 years since my husband, eldest and myself were last there.

We have our August trip dates tentatively booked . Current plans are to arrive August 16th and depart August 30th (that may change slightly when flights are released by JetBlue). Our first two week trip!!! This will be our second stay at Sheraton Vistana Resort, but our first trip "home" as owners :) .

A second trip for 2014 is currently in the planning/hoping stage, as two additional weeks of free accommodations landed in our laps rather unexpectedly and must be used before June 30th, 2015. We are hoping to use one of the extra weeks either during October (for the Halloween activities) or at Christmas.....but the jury is still out on which one it will be :scratchin .

7 Night Disney Cruise on the Fantasy Feb 8th - 15th 2014 and then one (very full) day at Magic Kingdom (kids first visit) staying at Contemporary Resort.

We're toying with spending Christmas 2014 on board a disney ship :)

Heading down Nov. 30th for a Christmas trip.

Hoping for Grand Floridian Villas- need to talk DH into an add on for that property.:rolleyes1

We're heading down Jan. 22-25 staying at the Contemporary BLV. Then we're heading to Tampa for a week which is why its such a short trip. Can't wait first stay at a deluxe resort and first time with the deluxe dining plan. :cool1:

We are going to WDW Feb 16-26 right after our Norwegian Epic cruise the week before. We are staying at the Saratoga Resort Villas (so cheap thru timeshare)! From edmonton, Alberta

Geez.....booked only a few weeks ago and have to change our dates already! Just by a week....I have a commitment for my business that I forgot about. So we are going a week sooner...yay! I will be making the change this week....still POR, but now May 3-9!

Had to change our dates again! DD tried out for the school play (Suessical) and got a chorus part. The play is May 8-10. So I'm giving up my business commitment and we are now checking in May 13th to 19th.

Yay!

Booked my first ever Disney World vacation just this week! My partner and I will be there from January 25 - February 1st. Doing a split stay between POR and WL. I'm so excited!

I'm 29 and not only is this my first Disney trip, but also my first trip out of country as an adult. It wasn't until after I booked that I noticed how many other people seem to plan wayyyy in advance of their trips. It makes me think maybe I'm not as prepared as I think I am! I've got a bunch of ADRs already so hopefully I'm not too unprepared.
