2014 process for getting tickets day before check-in?

I know I've read somewhere on here that you can pick up your park tickets to use up to three days before check-in. We are going to be arriving the day before check-in much earlier (mid-day) than anticipated. Has anyone done this recently? Is it worth grabbing our tickets that day and going over to one of the parks for the evening? Where do you go to get them, and will it mess anything up for check-in, magic bands, etc the next day? Thanks for the info. I thought there might be a chance that we would come in early and had already added an extra day to our tickets, to use beforehand possibly.

1- Where do you go to get them, and

2- will it mess anything up for check-in,

1- Go to any ticket booth or Guest Relations outside any park, TTC or DTD.

2- It shouldn't, but anything is possible.

3- That said,
since you will have MagicBands which link to the tickets, you should not NEED to do anything at all
to enter a park before you check in.
Just arrive at the park gates and enter using your MB.

Just so I'm understanding this correctly, you are saying we don't need to stop at any guest relations since we will have magic bands? We can go directly to the park and start using the tickets the day before? Thanks Robo!
