It is the hummingbird dress by Rabbit Rabbit something or other on Etsy. IT is a quick sew. I believe you could use the simply sweet halter top to do it. I saw a tutorial on her blog but I am horrible about going back and looking at the blog to sew I would rather have the pattern there. Oh and the pattern didn't call for the top stitching.

i will post when the get here because I don't remember LMAO.

I am happy to be sewing again too.

Today is working on pillowcase day and taking pictures for the launch of dress number 2.

So I am beginning to feel the crunch of the time counting down for August.

I need to check the customs today and see what actually needs to be done.

I am also finishing the autograph pillowcase.

I think Sami may be done but I am not sure yet :rotfl2:

I also need to see if C needs anything for School because she heads to Arkansas on Wednesday for a week to visit my Aunt and Uncle. Have I told you how huge this is for me. I am letting her fly alone.

So the launch is over so I can show you what I made.

This Pooh Dress which sold.

and this Ariel Dress. Someone messaged me about so we shall see

now to work on my Anna and Elsa order. I am excited since I am trying a new digitizer on the recommendation of a friend.

Hope you all have a great day. I need to start putting our trip documents together today also.

I do have pictures to post but I am on the wrong computer so that will have to wait.

I am in the midst of packing Miss C up to go to Arkansas on Wednesday to visit my aunt and uncle for a week. I am in panic mode. I have never let her go anywhere like this before. Heck I have problems letting her walk the 2 blocks to church alone and I am letting her fly.

Today she is helping me see what else I need to make for Sami and Jimmy so I will be occupied while she is gone and G is working.

So during my hiatus from the Dis, we had to have Sami evaluated by EI for PT and OT. She has no delays with PT but with OT it was a 25% delay which isn't enough to qualify for services. I will be honest I still don't see it. Maybe because of J but she is so typical it is funny.

Sami will be 14 months tomorrow and we may have a walker soon. She took 2 steps over the weekend from the coffee table to sofa. She is so cautious it is kind of funny. She doesn't want to fall. I have finally progressed to a lot more solids with her too. we are having one huge problem, tranisitioning to a cup. She will not do it. She is hanging on to that bottle for dear life. This is unknown territory for me since J and C were using cups at 9 months. I don't want to cold turkey change but it might come to that soon.

I will say since she is my youngest and last I hadn't been pushing to hard but it is time.

Well time for me to go move the cars since G will be home from work soon.

I can so l relate to the weaning from a bottle. With my middle son, I held off because he was only 17 months old when his younger sister was born, and I didn't want him to associate his sister with loosing his bottle. (Yes, I over think things!)

So our pediatrician had the idea that since my thing was I didn't like seeing babies walking around with a bottle...so if he wanted a bottle he had to lie down, if he wanted to walk he had a cup. It took a week before he decided a cup was more fun....then I started giving him only water in the bottle (my husband's family had a problem with Nursing baby mouth and several of the kids had to have all their baby teeth surgically removed and partials until their adult teeth came in...) That only took a few nights for him to decide he didn't really want it any more.

Good luck on that....I know it is totally different when it is your last baby.

Can't wait to see the pictures!

So I hit one of my huge milestones yesterday, I wore a pair of size 14 jeans out. I haven't worn a size 14 since 2008.

It is one step closer to my goal. These are Gap jeans.

I don't usually wear anything that will give a muffin top but I am so excited that I could button these without any trouble.

On Saturday I finished Cs pillowcase for the trip, she is on an Alice kick.

and I started my last order before my selfish sewing begins. These are going to be a sisters set. I love how they are coming out.

and in progress

I am seriously in love with the fabric on these.

Have a great day and I hope to show at least one dress tomorrow.

Finished my appliqués yesterday and cut and pinned all the pieces of the bodice for one.

I have been spending time in the evenings with C because she leaves for Arkansas in the morning. Also I have been working out in the mornings so I only have a small window to sew before J gets home from school.

Today I probably won't sew anything because it is the last sibling support group for C and we have to get her to the airport super early tomorrow.

We had a slight change in our August trip plans as we are now on a different flight going down so instead of arriving at 11am we don't arrive until 12:59 not a huge deal except it may give us a fit when to get groceries. I may do it after our dinner.

Well I have to head out to work as we are dealing with another lease renewal and they take a lot of time.

Crazy couple of days - C is in Arkansas visiting family.

I have some things to do like try on my swim suits. The shirts I bought are all big except the one I bought in a large but I am thinking of disney dying them.

Today's projects are finish the Anna dress and do an Olaf tee for Jimmy.

I hope Miss C is having a good time in Arkansas!

Oooh - I cannot wait to see your finished projects! This should be fun. Are you Disney dying the shirts for yourself? That would be way cool if you are.

I am hoping to Disneyfye them. Depends how not lazy I am in the next few days.

I love the sisters packs. The Anna one looks so pretty. Great job on the size 14 jeans!

Thank you so much.

Well I made j an Olaf shirt this morning and I am almost done with Anna.

We are heading to New Jersey to visit my BFF. So not a lot of sewing. I did find several shirts that need to find a new home.

Yesterday we went to visit my BFF and family in NJ. We had a lot of fun and I had the best Shrimp Fra Diavlo. Super yummy. Today is back to super clean eating. We had Italian food 2 days in a row.

Also going to do a small workout abs and squats. I might Possibly do piyo.

Before we left I worked on a shirt for J and I love how it came out. Every one's favorite snowman who loves summer.

Today I am finishing half of an order. I have the second part cut out and the appliqué done. Hoping I can finish it so I can work on some other things for our trip.

We did have some excitement on our way home yesterday, my 2 month old minivan with only 2300 miles crapped out on the highway about 5 miles from our house. So we had it towed to the dealer. Thankfully my mom was home so she picked up the kids and I while G went with the car.

The service department isn't open today but I am calling the dealer since the sales floor is open. We called roadside assistance but they weren't able to pick us up because NYC has laws about who is allowed on the highways. so we had to pay for the tow. Roadside assistance wanted us to have them tow it off the highway and then have their tow truck tow it. The tow was $140 just too hook up is $100 so if I was paying $100 I wasn't going to have them switch since I knew how far it was to the dealer.

The tow truck driver thinks it might be a sensor. It was just freaky how the car was revving and acting wonky. Hoping it isn't anything big. My mom is going to have my Dad lend me his jeep and he will drive his super old pick up. I only need to borrow for tomorrow since G is working nights the rest of the week except Monday.

I will say J was amazing during this whole ordeal. Sometimes he really surprises me.

If you got through all this thanks.

These are Sami's customs for the trip.

I am debating a new Sofia dress as I have to see if this one fits but it is a pain in the stroller and I think it is actually too short.

What a bummer about your van... I sure hope it's an easy fix and you have it back soon.

Love all of Sami's customs... I see a few favorites in there! Cannot wait to meet all of your kids... How is Miss C doing on her trip>?

I have to tell you...many years ago my husband was a firm believer in buying used vehicles. When I started working on the other side of Atlanta with a 2 hour commute ...one way...I decided we NEEDED a brand spanking new car! So I got me a new Grand Caravan with all the bells and whistles. It was less than 3 weeks old the first time it stranded me on the way home from work. After a couple week stay at the dealership, it stranded me again! This cycle went on fro a full year! The time it stranded me at night on the interstate in rush hour traffic was the last straw. I had the tow truck take ot to the very front of the dealership...in front of their show room and drop it!

I went in an announced I would NOT be getting the car back EVER!

It took 6 months (of me NOT paying my car payment) before Dodge realized I was not bluffing. I was completely willing to screw up my credit ...so we went into arbitration. It was a lemon and they knew it but refused to follow the law. It was another 9 months or so before Doge agreed to my demands. I got another brand new van with 2 miles on it, and extended warranty for free, at the price of my other van...with the payments made on it transferring to the new van. AND they took off the blemish from my credit.

They never could figure out what was wrong with the old van. They 'thought' it had something to do with the fuel line, and replaced the whole thing as well as the fuel tank.

All that to say this....hoping they find and fix what is wrong super fast and you have no problems with it!

You carry precious cargo in that thing and it NEEDS to be safe and dependable!

Thanks D. C is having a blast being spoiled. She comes home tomorrow and I am ready. I have missed her.

Thanks Nini. I am hoping they actually get to look at it today. For some reason they only had one mechanic yesterday. I did tell him it had to be fixed. he thinks it is either a sensor or the computer. He does NOt think it is the actual transmission.

I finally finished the Frozen sister sets I have been working on. I love how they came out. I love the material and appliques. I used a different digitizer so I was nervous.

Anna

Elsa

I cut out and ironed the material I need for the one item C asked for. It doesn't require an applique so I am hoping to get it done tonight and tomorrow morning so it is done when she comes home.

I have my launch dress for next week appliqued. So I need to work on that this week.

I need to print out all our flight information since they changed it.

The dresses turned out fabulous!

Thank you so much they are some of my favorites.

So my baby came home late last night. She had a very stressful day with her flight being delayed, then cancelled and rebooked on a later flight which was then delayed.

We are happy to have her home and she is happy to be home.

Today is going to be busy as I have a lot I want to do.

1. Make countdown change we are only 10 days aways
2. Finish Cs dress
3. Test a design for a friend
4. DVC applique for a shirt
5. Sully Shirt for J.

We are also going to my moms for swimming as J is off from school and he needs an activity to look forward too.
