2014 here we come... WDW, a cruise, F&G and more!!!

So I finally sewed today for the first time since before the cruise. I have 7 items to finish before we leave. 2 are for a launch while I am gone but the others are for the trip.

1. pillowcase for C
2. Frozen top for C
3. Princess something for Sami
4. Animal Kingdom for Sami
5. Sofia for Sami

J is good to go with clothes though I am letting him lead me this trip since he will be in casts.

I promised some pictures so here we go.

I am getting excited about our trip. I had so much fun in February. I am like a whole new person.

Mr D tried to convince me that we should go for Spring Break next month...

Hi Chiara!!! It's great to see you back, and sewing. I didn't realize you hadn't sewn in so long... I love seeing your lists, and happy you are making more time to Dis!

Little Sami is so adorable - I just love seeing her happy face, I don't think I have ever seen her unhappy.

So one of the reasons I haven't been posting as much on the Dis is because I have really been focusing on my health and fitness.

These are my before through when I finished T-25


and these are my start pictures for the next program I did the 21 day fix.


I do need to take new pictures since the month ended.
Right now I am doing a mix of t-25 and the 21 Day fix but I am excited that I am going to be doing a weight program.

I have also been busy with the kiddos. It is hard trying to find time especially since things have been rough with Jimmy. We saw the neurologist recently and they changed his Diagnosis to included ADHD. We also have surgery scheduled on Monday to fix his ankles so he doesn't toe walk anymore.

My baby boy will be in casts for our next trip but if he walks more normally it will be so worth it.

Sami is Sami and growing and developing by leaps and bounds. She isn't super interested in crawling but I figured I will start encouraging it even though I need to baby proof. though I am a bit of a mean mommy and use the playpen a lot.

She discovered real food finally when we were in Florida so that is fun too.

Today I am making an autograph pillowcase for our trip.

You know, I admire you so much for your dedication and perseverance - you truly do inspire me every single day. I know I've told you that a bazillion times, but it's so true. There are a few people that I really look towards on my journey for inspiration, and you are one of the top. So, not only do you look FANTASTIC, but you are doing this in such a great way - and your progress is amazing!

On a side note... Since you posted your progress pictures on The Dis... I just may be brave enough to post mine. I am going to wait until next week tough, since I am due to take new ones on Monday.

Yup - she will be crawling before you know it... My girls both learned to crawl and climb at the same time... That was rough! It was so fun when they were trying a new food for the first time too... Good times.

so Js surgery went well but the recovery has been hard. He won't stand on his legs. He will weight bear on one but not the other.
We had a wheelchair delivered today, so hopefully that will help. He has been taking 2 naps a day and hasn't returned to school.

This picture of him from Thursday says it all.


I also have been sewing for our trip. I am making the girls coordinated shirt/dress.But I did finish C's pillowcase



Hoping to finish the dress and shirt tomorrow.

Our April trip has come and gone. It was actually quite lovely.

I have to say I was extremely stressed before hand about how it would be with J in twin casts but it was really great. I need to get the pictures together so I can share some highlights.

Now it is on to Sami's first Birthday in June, My parents 50th Anniversary in June and then our last trip of the year in August.

I am actually going to be ahead in sewing since I didn't finish one of Sami's dresses and have plans to finish it today.

I will be back with more pictures later today.

Well I had a whole long update but the Dis ate it

Life became insane after our last trip as J was still in double casts and my parents 50th anniversary was coming up and someone was turning one.

I have a few things to do for our trip including a pillowcase and top for C and possibly a shirt for J. I have to see if Sami needs anything else.

August was supposed to be our last trip until April but we just booked a November trip

I am going to try and be better about posting here. I figure I can check in at least once a day.

I have to say though, not only are you getting smaller, but you appear to be getting so much younger as well. Those before and after photos really show...you look at least 10 years younger!

I have actually missed it too. We are going to be staying at the Art of Animation in a Cars Suite. I was outvoted on the Lion King room.

Well I hit send too soon.

Todays projects are to do the appliqué for Cs pillowcase, work on my 2nd launch dress and wash fabric for an order.

Well I have washed the fabric and that is it.

My second launch dress is cut out and the appliqué is done. I decided to go to Joanns and Target after church. I bought some fabric for appliqués and some adorable Disney fabric that I have no plans for but I had seen it and want it.

I figured I would share some sewing I have done, i hadn't sewing in a really long time but in the past 3 weeks the bug has bitten me so I have been sewing again. Makes me happy.

This is a dress I didn't finish for April but it is ready to go for August


and this is a Belle dress that was a trial of a new pattern.




and lastly is a Doc dress that I made for Sami to wear to church Today. She got a big grin on her face when she saw it. Guess I am going to be stalking the Dining reservations to try and get Hollywood and Vine for November it is the only thing we really wanted that we couldn't get.


I also finally ordered 2 new bathing suits from Lands End. Also placed an order for Old Navy for a couple tank tops. Decided I am going to put appliqués on a couple for August.

I have been busy working on 2 launch dresses and I started C's pillowcase. Actually finishing it is going to be tomorrows project.

I can't wait to show you the 2 launch dresses. I really like how they came out.

I am also going to go through the customs this week to figure out who needs what. C is okay except she requested one top.

I think Sami probably has enough but I am not sure about J.

I am busy looking for leg gins for Sami so her eczema doesn't flare from the stroller. If she would walk that would help too kid doesn't want to walk anywhere UGH.

Started doubles this morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be a rest day but I am unsure what I am going to do. I will probably do cardio though my true love is weights.
