I am sooooooo excited...... can't wait to see new pics of GF SL!!!!!!!!! Someone hurry and post!!!!!!!! :0
GrannyMinnie have a great trip!

~ We are on a dining roll...not only was I able to book the Ohana dinner (you know that middle of the nite checking...lol..)...IPO was able to get us an Ohana breakfast ressie... :woohoo:..My adult DD is very happy about this...lol...Kids! Wonder if they are open for lunch...I kid!!! lol....now if we can just get BOG in there... Its always about the food fellow GF fans...

Congrats on the Ohana ADR.....we love Ohana breakfast :goodvibes. Our favorite is Cape May, but Ohana runs a very close second. I LOVE the juice (can never get enough of it when we go ) and it's nice having the food brought to your table......makes for a more relaxed breakfast/character meal than having to go through a buffet line ;). Good luck getting BOG.

Hi Blue...I'm on my second cup too...actually, I was on here reading earlier! :surfweb: I will be at WDW this week and will try and have a peek in SL if someone will let me in. We're staying in DD and will end the week at the WL, just to see the fireworks! I plan on going to the GF one day, and may say hello to any familiar CMs I see! ;)
Thanks for the info about another site we can research for info (kenny the pirate). Headed that way right now! :thumbsup2

Have a great trip :wizard:.

I am so excited to stay at the Grand Floridian in late September! This is my last Deluxe resort to stay at. And I am doing it in style by staying club level in a Royal Palm theme park view room. My mom and sister are going with me and we are staying two nights.

I've stayed CL before at other resorts but never received such an extensive planning form before.

So my question is - is there any advantage to the form?

It Seems like this form is geared more toward people who don't go to Disney as often or aren't constantly on disboards to be in the know :goodvibes

The form says all reservations are subject to availability. So should I even bother requesting Be Our Guest Restaurant?

I already made reservations online for us at the Garden Tea Room since there was only one reservation available on the day I wanted.

There isn't a section for requests for the actual room, but should I include this anyway - like we definitely want two queen beds - three of us aren't sharing a king :rotfl: We already have the theme park view reserved so I assume all those rooms have good views, but any advantage to requesting a certain floor?

Is there anything else I should think about in filling out this form?

Thank you!

Thanks to you both! I wish we were staying the whole time on the monorail line, but DH is really a non-DH so I can't immerse him too much in Mickey....he just doesn't have the gene and wouldn't enjoy it for the $$$ we'd spend. :confused3

Congrats on booking your first GF stay :yay:. You are not only going to love the GF, but RPC is just amazing. I've never used IPO for any of our CL stays, but it is nice to have others there in case you have any questions or concerns. As far as filling out the form, if you don't need them to book any ADRs or do anything else, you could always just fill it out to introduce yourself and give them your arrival information, any room requests, etc (but it's not mandatory). If BOG is on your list, I would definitely request it. IPO doesn't have any more pull than what you do for getting ADRs, but they will keep checking if what you want isn't available right away. We've never stayed in a TPV room so I can't help with room locations, but I'm sure someone else will be along to help with that. Have a great trip and enjoy RPC.....it's simply amazing :cloud9:.

You will have a great time even though your whole trip isn't on the monorail as any number of nights is good :goodvibes.

I don't think I've asked this...has anyone ever traveled to GF with someone with special needs/disability? WL was great with my husband (visually impaired), helping him with food at the QS when I wasn't there, even walking him back to the room (which he actually didn't need)...one CM always helped him in the lobby if he needed it - to find the bathroom, use the ATM, etc.

I'm assuming GF is the same? My husband is pretty independent and actually doesn't need help but it made things much easier when it was offered.

I am doing my room requests for our upcoming August trip. I was wondering what is the Surfs up section and the Home run section? :beach:

Thanks! You answered my question about IPO having any pull for BOG. But I'll give it a shot knowing that the chances are still slim to none :goodvibes

On Tuesday, it will be the 2 week mark for our trip to Disney. As of right now, TA at AAA still doesn't have our travel documents. This has never happened to us before. Anyone else having issues? All I want are my docs for the GF and Disney! I'm frustrated.

TA called Disney and they said there was a delay. I want to know what caused delay. You think if I called Disney that they would tell me?

Thank you!!
I have a room booked at the suites AOA but I think I want to move to sugar loaf. What do you guys think?

If you can afford it , you won't regret it:goodvibes

Staying at the grand is awesome but CL is just so much fun. Tea time is what I always post as my favorite perk:thumbsup2

As a bonus you will be getting a newly remodeled room and lounge:yay:

What docs are you needing? I usually book myself with disney or with Orbitz and I do my own DME.

If you have your confirmation number you don't need anything unless you want to check your suitcases. You can still do DME by arriving to the airport and checking in there. They only need your confirmation number and will print you a pass there.

Does that help or do you need something else:confused3

2 weeks :cool1:
