In our experience people always head out of the restaurant and stand right along the railing to watch the fireworks..thus blocking some of the view... I think that the only access to that area is thru the restaurant...so the only peeps out there would be fellow diners...rude ones...lol..

As for the tour..they do not show up in MDE for some reason...but I am sure at check in they give you some sort of confirmation..as for travel time to the MK..even though it's so close..I would give it 1/2 hour travel time via monorail if its up and running at that hour..or by the water launch...which heading to the MK will stop at the Poly first...

If you are staying CL I don't think that getting off of the ME to sight see would be a good idea...I do believe that when you check into ME the resort is notified and greeters will be waiting to help you get checked in...also even if not CL...getting checked in earlier will probably give you more opportunity to be sure that you are assigned to a room that you are happy with...just my 2 cents on that...

Congrats on booking another stay at the GF! Queen deluxe room are so very nice!! and spacious! I am surprised that they have not changed the room capacity to five in these rooms....I do believe that I read some where that those rooms do indeed now have a sleep sofa/daybed rather than just a small sofa....and I know that another poster..posted a GF reivew a while back that included pics of a deluxe room in an outer building...and the small sofa there had been replaced with a sleep sofa/daybed...

So...no difinitive answer..lol... But another suggestion would be...since you are staying CL is to call the Itinerary Planning Office and inquire....they are a wealth of info...and very helpful too! Happy planning!

I can't wait to hear all about the surprise as well as your trip . I'm sorry your mom doesn't get the excitement, but we all understand . I have family and friends always asking me why we go to Disney so often, they just don't realize just how much there is to see and do. Have a great trip .

The Magic Kingdom hotels will be testing a new bus route from 10/12-10/25/14. The bus will run between the Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian Resort, the Polynesian and Typhoon Lagoon. This will fix the problem of all Typhoon Lagoon guests having to transfer at Epcot after 2:00pm.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi and that 60 days from now we will be checking into the beautiful Grand Floridian!!!!! Booked our FP+ last night and was able to score Anna & Elsa and 7DMT.

Sunday is our bonafide princess day with BBB, CRT, and our meet and greet with A&E.

Cannot wait to see the look on my daughter's face when we drive under the Walt Disney World sign and she realizes where we are. Looking forward to spending a week at the beautiful GF during the most wonderful time of the year. Fingers crossed we all stay healthy!

14 days from now we will be on our way to the GF!! I'm so excited! We are (and will be until we leave) trying to upgrade to RPC (we stayed there last time - ooh la la). Has anyone had any luck doing that when checking in?

If not, we're hoping to be back in Boca Chica. Either way it's going to be incredibly fun! I'm just so excited and I knew you all would understand!

How long will GF hold my stroller without it being a problem? We are shipping my double stroller down UPS ground... and we don't want to get there before the stroller gets there. So, we were thinking of sending it soon- so it will be there by Halloween.
