2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival 9/19-11/10

We got everything we wanted:
Booked the 10\12 Fritz Sonnenschmidt demo online
and the 10\09 Food & Wine late night Live
and 10/12 Sunday morning with Warren Brown on the phone!

The cast member even asked us if we were celebrating anything and took my DH's name as well as mine as we are celebrating our 5th anniversary during this trip!:cool1:

Still on hold. Any word on booking for the Eat to the Beat dining Packages??

This is what I am on hold for. I will post if I have any issues and success. 1 hour and 6 mins to even get on the phone and now on hold 48 minutes!!! lmfaooo it's a joke at this point but I am mutil tasking making the most of it while i wait.

Finally got through after 50 minutes of waiting with complete silence - don't worry if you get the silence :-)

Was soooo happy for the CM to say she had all 4 things I wanted available, she was fantastic and was really helpful.

We booked 3D on the 10th October with sweet seats, Parisian Breakfast on 4th October, Mexican Tequila Lunch on 4th October and Late Nights Live on the 7th October.

Good Luck all - hope you all get what you want! :)

I called exactly at 7:00 am was on hold for 6 minutes and got a great CM. We were able to book Flying Fish Signature 10/30, Italian Regional Lunch 10/27, and PFTS 10/25 Wine View Lounge (no Reserved seating left). We got everything we wanted. Doing the happy dance!
Choose magical on the ending survey :thumbsup2

I got through at 7:04 and got WVL for PFTS 10/25. Didn't ask about Reserved as we decided on WVL, but it's very shocking to hear that Reserved was sold out already at 7:06 when you went through!!! :confused3 Previously, another poster reported Reserved sold out for 10/25 at 7:10am but I guess that's now 7:06am.

I was able to get what we wanted by booking online. It was a little slow, but worth it. I called and was told the wait would be over 30 min. So I logged onto the computer to see if I could do it there faster. I did and was able to hang up. It's worth it if anyone on hold wants to try it.

Absolute craziness. On the advice in the first post, when my first CM told me that the Italian Regional Lunch for 10/27 was sold out (I had her check 2 or three times), I called back. After being on hold for another 45 minutes, finally got another person who was able to sign me right up for the lunch!!!?!

The difference was that the second lady asked for my name and phone number which she input into the system (we are staying at the Four Seasons this year, not on Disney property) before she searched and tried to book. When I remarked that another CM an hour go was showing no availability, and I noted that the previous lady did not ask for my name, the successful CM said that that makes all the difference for some reason.

Go figure. Ultimately, the why of it doesn't matter. Just glad it worked. Kinda like how turning your iphone on and off can sometimes fix the darndest things.

It shows up as the same name on my MDE as well. I had that issue last year with the Signature Lunch @ Le Cellier showing up as Portobellos but there were no issues checking into my event!

I booked the Parisian Breakfast for 10/25, and it's listed as the same thing (F&W Marketplace VIP) on my MDE as well.

That was just the name of it on the MDE reservation. The agent on the phone was able to recognize what "Parisian Breakfast" meant. It most likely is called something closer to that in their system.

Just clarifying in case people see that name on MDE and are confused.

finally done! got through to hold after 45 minutes of calling and then on hold for just short of an hour but we got our Parisian bfast 9/27. so so excited :cheer2: good luck everyone!!

PS: it showed up on the app different for us, too - it just looks like a 9am dining reservation at Chefs de France :0

:thumbsup2 CM knew what I was talking about when I said Parisian Breakfast and that's all I was worried about. Yes it is in My Disney experience as F&W Marketplace VIP so no worries:goodvibes

Thanks all :thumbsup2

Finally got through! 51 minutes on hold. Got the Parisian breakfast on Nov.1. Very helpful CM. I'm happy! It's time for coffee!

So frustrated. Started calling at 7:00 and it took 55 minutes to get through and then another, 50 minutes on hold. Every year it is the same. The only thing we were able to get was the Parisian Breakfast on Oct. 18. Every year we never get through to get some of the things we want.

Got an agent after 52 minutes. All the events I wanted are sold out (French and Italian regional lunches, Parisian breakfasts). Awesome.

Booked the Eat to the Beat Dining Package at Tutto Italia for Nov 10th. The latest dining time I could get was a 4:45pm dinner for the 8pm show. I do not like to eat that early but my mom really wants to see voo doo daddy so that is why I am booking in advance. You can cancel it 2 days before without penalty so I have time to think about it.

Over all 1 hour and 6 minutes to even get through to wait. 1 hour exactly to talk to a cast member to make a reservation. For a grand total of 2 hours and 6 minutes to make one dining reservation lol

Booked the Epcot Food & Wine Premium Package :goodvibes I hope this was worth me canceling all the other things we wanted to do.

Finally got connected at 7:30, was in queue in dead silence for 40 minutes, but finally got a CM.

Mostly good results, but Brown Derby not available for 10/16. Did Yachtsman instead.

Also got

Tequila Lunch - 10/17
Parisian Breakfast - 10/18
Cheese Seminar - 10/18

They need to fix this system. It's too stressful!! :scared:

Good luck everyone!!

When I asked about the premium package the CM said it was nor available for the date I wanted (oct 2nd). I asked if he could re-check a different way as a previous CM had told me this was a trick she used. Then I got flustered and asked if I could just get it for a different date as not all the features are date dependent. he said yes and gave it to me for Sept 30th. Now I am kicking myself wondering if I should have just called back and had another CM try??

I know they say non-transferable, but I can I give that late night experience ticket to someone else to use so it doesn't go to waste?? Or will it show up in my room on Oct 2nd too late to use ?

I make the stupidest decisions when I panick:(
