NO. Not at all.

Don't know if everyone saw this, but runDisney is going to be making an announcement in about 30 minutes! A lot of people are guessing it may be a Marvel themed run, and hopefully in California! Guess we only need to wait a few short minutes to find out...![]()
that's exactly what it was like last yearI'm in for DDD! This will be my second race at Disneyland ( did Tink 10k and half last month) and will be part of earning my second coast to coast this yearAny advice about August weather? I know last year was very warm, but is that typical? I'm used to running here in New Jersey during the summer with temperatures in the 80's- 90's and high humidity so I'm not sure how that would compare to CA weather.
I was so happy about the theme but then again I ran W&D as Captain America! I think it's always cool to have an inaugural medal. I am legacy Tinkerbell and have a strong feeling I will be for the Avengers race as well but I love the AvengersI will admit that I am bummed about the Avengers theme. I am not a huge comic book fan, or even a fan of the movies. However, I realize many people are, and this should be a fun event costume-wise. Also, any additional races in Cali are always welcome!! I think it is interesting that there is no 10K - just the half, 5K, and family race. I would consider doing this Half just because I love runDisney so much and I am interested to see how the course varies, but that's the weekend of the Monterey Half Marathon which I already planned to do. Ah, well.

I just got back from DL and stayed at the Holiday Inn on Walnut again and ended up cancelling my reservation there for the race, I really love this hotel at $100 a night but just can't justify $200 a night. I ending up booking the Hilton Garden Inn south of the convention center on Harbor, it's not within walking distance but with my AP I get free parking at DL and I ended up saving $150! It's got good reviews on TripAdvisor and Expedia so I have my fingers crossed.
YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR OWN PARTICIPANT PACKET (WHICH INCLUDES YOUR EVENT-ISSUED BIB NUMBER AND TIMING DEVICE) DURING REGULARLY SCHEDULED HOURS. Individuals will no longer be able to pick up participant packets on behalf of others
Kim brought up some news over in the Avengers Half thread about the Expos and picking up your runners packet. It's been posted for both the Disneyland and Avengers Half on the run Disney website under Runner Info ---> Packet ...
Hmm...doesn't affect me at all, but that has to be a bummer for some people who just can't make it to the expo in time. I guess this is to try to make it harder for people to sell their bibs?
