It's something you can actually book, it is a bookable category. If you're on the website searching for rooms, you will need to check the box marked "Accessible Rooms". The accessible categories will only show up when you check that box. Once you check that box then the results will only be accessible rooms like:

Outer Bldg-Standard Room-Club Level Access. Hearing accessible - visual alarms and notifications. 2 queen beds, 1 daybed

Outer Bldg-Standard Room-Club Level Access. Wheelchair accessible with tub and option for hearing accessibility. 2 queen beds

Main Bldg-Theme Park-Club Level. Hearing accessible - visual alarms and notifications. 2 queen beds, 1 daybed.


These are just a few of the results.

Thanks for the info! I went on the Disney site and found what you were talking about, that's great so I know I can book an accessible room. Hopefully I can do that on the phone as well, as you can't book the discount I'm looking into on the website.

I promise you that I will not harm the GF, now Nikki is a first timer, so I can't guarantee she will behave, she's small but she is feisty!

I'd buy the second round but we are only there from 10/28 - 11/1 -- just a quick Disney World fix to get to Epcot for F&W - someone wise said "its all about the food."

Instead of starting a new thread I figured I'd see if anyone here could help.

Does anyone know when the gingerbread house will be up this year? Since the parade taping is earlier than usual I was hoping that perhaps the resort decorations might be up early too! We were sure we were missing the gingerbread house this year, so this would be a welcome surprise.

All the resorts will have all their decorations done/up by the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. The Deluxes have a lottery to decide the order in which their decorations go up. This order is not publicized and because of that you will probably see no less that 4 dozen threads asking about when resort XXX will have their decorations up. Really nobody knows. When the parade taping is has no bearing on the resorts.

Don't know if it will be similar this year... But I just looked through my wedding trip pictures from last year and the gingerbread house was up by November 16.

Well, I did it. I read (or at least glanced at) all 193 pages of this thread before posting. I'm SOOOOO very excited to say that we will be staying at the GF for our next family vacation in only 347 days! Can't wait to try this beautiful resort! I'd never considered the GF, but after a somewhat disappointing Yacht Club stay a few weeks ago, I'm excited to try somewhere new. Thanks for all the great info!

Well, this has all changed. Our Labor Day 2016 trip has become a Memorial Day Trip, instead of a standard garden room booked with cash, we are using our DVC points to stay in a studio. SO still super excited with a shorter countdown!

Have a Grand stay!! But no photos :-0. Hope you figure it out it that new phone! And have a chocolate square for me!
