OMG!!! WE'RE COMING BACK!!! We were originally booked GF GV room but just switched to BC LV/PV room. I love GF but wanted to see new BC rooms (and we saved $800!)

Dee - add us to the Be Our Guest list. August 20 to August 31.

Robyn - great news on the switch and saving $800. Think you will love the new rooms. The pictures truly don't do them justice. We really liked our room in December and looking forward to our family trip in 5 short weeks!

Yeah yeah, what Wood Nymph said... (Hi Wood Nymph :wave2:) but if you want to be like Ninja Mom the easiest way to get to the pool is to leap off of the roof screaming CANNONBALL!! at the top of your lungs.

Janet Mom was kind enough to "let" me do this when I went out on her Yacht Club room balcony and she locked the door, refusing to let me back in. Just make sure that you run BETWEEN those roof top flag poles and not into them like I did the first time.

So life got away from me and I lost the time to spend on the DisBoards recently. Just seeing the late March posts now...

I don't completely recall this incident, but I'll "let" NinjaMom keep her version of the story going. In my version I locked her out after hearing her whine and whine and whine about wanting to jump into the pool. Once she was on the balcony she chickened out and I made her sit out there until after the fireworks were over.

Back to catching up on the past couple of weeks.

Whew, just caught up on 30 pages of unread posts. Must not let that happen again. I need to get my priorities right and make sure to get in my daily Dis reading.

Are you sure I can't tempt you and Mom to come over to the darkest side for a CHRISTMAS STAY??? Think of all the fun we'd have hanging out in the lounge sipping Nescafe machine concoctions as we come and go during the day. We could use the lounge as our meeting point and get together to hang out at all hours of the day. I'm thinking that a Beach Club get together at the Boardwalk is looking better and better. The Club Level there is said to be very good and the lounge looks like it has a lot of comfy seating. It will be hard to leave once we sit down on the sofas and start our "hen party" clucking!!

You should "ask your Mom" if you can come out to play. Tell her she can come too!!

~NM

PS. Janet Mom, please ask your husband if HE can come out and play at the BWI. You might have to tell him a little white lie and say you thought you saw pretzel rolls as Club level snacks, but my husband really needs his hang buddy to keep him company in the lounge.

Ooh, that does sound like fun. I bit of pretzel roll and beer action could have my husband sold. We are starting to get the itch to book our next trip, but I don't know if we will get there in 2015.

I put up Teena and Jeanne's trip report and pictures in the Lily Goes Live thread- Page 14. Pink link in my signature.

Here are a few of the pictures.

That is a beautiful view!

Thanks to everyone who posted about why the FP+ window sometimes opens at midnight and sometimes at 1 am (or later) based on when the latest WDW park closes that day (or the day before).

I won't need to get 150 FP all together, fortunately. Our group will be split in two and going to different parks. I am in the process of making 13 different groups/MDE accounts (first I have to set up 13 email addresses) and then add everybody to the right groups. So I will be making 13 sets of FP reservations for a total of 150 people. They won't all have to be at the same times.

:thumbsup2

The thought of booking all those fast passes is intimidating!

As always Dee thank you for all the hours you put in on this 'project'. I know the thousands you have helped sure appreciate it. If we could just get you in charge of customer relations of WDW.........

:thanks:

Holy cow ... Jeanne, Bob and I just booked the Northern Europe Cruise on the Disney Magic on June 13th. We fly to Copenhagen on June 10th. Really excited and nervous too ... this is my first time in Europe.

That sounds like an amazing trip. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on how it compares to your usual cruise experiences.

Thread watch...

This thread is approaching the (formerly?) sacred maximum number of pages: 250. I have been trying to find out if threads continue to be shut down with this new server when they hit 250 pages, but so far I haven't gotten any answers. So most likely on Monday I will work on moving us over to a new thread. If you see posts for the FAQ thread with the title "Under Construction- Do Not Post", that means I am still working on it. I'll let you know when it is ready. I'm a little scared because I am having some formatting issues and problems reposting links, so we shall see how it goes...

:scared:

I don't know what to tell you other than the Star Wars weekends threads is up to a whopping 381 pages.

So jealous!! I'm sure it will be a terrific cruise...if you are still working on June 7th and 8th we will give you a sendoff hug!!

Quick question - since we were originally staying at the GF I didn't make an ADR for B&C.
Anyone ever have any luck with a walk in right at opening?

I know to keep trying in case someone cancels. It would just seem really weird for us to be
at BC and not eat at Beaches and Cream!

Hello Everyone,
I'm thinking of staying at YC from 11/21 to 11/23, but I'm worried about the weather. This would be our first trip to BC/YC and we always wanted to hang out at SAB. Will it be too cold to swim and enjoy SAB? This is also our first trip during this time of year.

Not everyone who stays at the Beach Club has been to Beaches & Cream, you know!

That is awesome

We've been to WDW twice close to that time of year (the week right after Thanksgiving). One year, the week started out warm, but was in the low 60s by the end of the week. So not freezing, but not necessarily warm enough for me for swimming. But that was a full week into December. I would guess you'll still have warm enough weather for swimming.

So last summer, just before our First trip to BC, we had our 17-year-old kitty put to sleep. It was one of those situations where I probably should have done it a few months earlier, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it before then. So we've been without a kitty, or any pet, for several months. Last week, we put in an application for a kitty at the rescue where my mom volunteers. We came home with three hairless guinea pigs and a hamster. A few nights ago, we got the okay to take home this little guy. He's a Siamese mix, about six-months old. He was taken from a hoarding situation involving about 50 cats. Many of them are feral and not adoptable. This guy, though, is a total love. We're trying to come up with a name. My husband likes Yeti. I suggested Sushi because he has some pretty good fish breath going on. James won't go for a name that equals food. The emo tween likes none of them. I was thinking maybe something Disney-related, but not overly Disney. Although Baymax was suggested and shot down right away. Any suggestions? I thought maybe Kidani, or something like that.

I just adopted a kitten from last chance rescue. We named her Maximum and call her Max. Here are some suggestions: Max, Rocko, Rocky or Bullwinkle, Toby, Henry

Congratulations on the new editions to your family!

The Siamese cats from Lady and the Tramp are Si and Am- you could name him Siam.

The names of the male cats in Aristocats don't do anything for me- Thomas O'Malley and Scat Cat.

Wow Teena! I am sure you will have an incredible time.... what an amzing trip!

I haven't been yet, but I thought from the pictures I have seen that the chest has been replaced by the refrig/coffee maker etc

Thanks Rebecca!

I wish they had kept it - that was one thing I always said about BC/YC - tons of drawer space.
It is not easy travelling with two teen age girls - too many clothes!!! I think DH and DS could go for
a two week vacation with a bathing suit, 2 shirts and 2 pairs of shorts!

Looks like your next trip is getting close - can't wait to hear all about it.
