Only 12 more days until my first stay at Beach Club. My daughter and I are so excited!!! DH and DS are excited too but able to keep it together while Avery and I dance around and talk about it every chance we get. She asks for Toaster Strudels for breakfast in the morning just so I will write how many days are left in icing! She's definitely my daughter!! Teena, will you be there in the morning on Oct 24th. Our plane gets in at 9:30 so I am guessing it would be closer to 11am or noon before we arrive. Would love to catch a glimpse or get a chance to say thank you to the famous Teena! I know I haven't been super active in this thread but I feel like I have learned so much!

Hoping someone here can answer this. I was told Les Halles opens for no reservation breakfast at 9.... How do I get the gate blocker to let me go there to eat when I enter from the "secret" entrance?

Last YC stay a smiling woman would not let anyone into WS. Would love to eat there, but as a YC guest, I will again be entering from the back in the morning. Not like I will have a confirmation number to prove I am going there to eat.

How long ago was that? Can't remember exactly when the French bakery started opening at 9 for breakfast, but I think it was sometime in 2013. Before that, people were not let into the WS pre-opening unless they had a reservation for breakfast in Norway.

I haven't been there for breakfast, but I think others who have said that there are CMs that will prevent you from going anywhere but there.

:thumbsup2

I can't comment with direct personal experience... but I believe you should have no issue with access to the bakery from the International Gateway.

I always remember the WS being 'open' from Innovations to the International Gateway at park opening. We've often arrived via bus to Epcot, walked to the IG, and then to the BC for a breakfast ADR at Cape May. While nothing was open in Canada or or the UK... we had no issues walking through.

Considering that France is the 'next country' over... I can't imagine there would be an issue. The bakery has been serving breakfast since late January of last year.

If it's open to 'all guests' I have no doubt that includes those from the IG. Chances are you still can't gain access to the WS from Mexico or Morroco until opening or without a Norway breakfast reservation.

Oh man, I'm crawling out of my skin with nerves/excitement! :rotfl: We leave a week from this Tuesday for 9 nights at the Beach Club. :bitelip::bitelip: :goodvibes:goodvibes pixiedust:pixiedust: :cheer2::cheer2:

It doesn't even seem real at this point!

I'm getting myself used to the fact that since the resort is sold out, my chances of getting my request of courtyard/lakeside view (garden view paid for), will be slim to none. I'm sure we will like whatever we get though!

ugh, I can't wait to just board Magical Express!!!

Phew, thanks for letting me get that off my chest. :lmao:

Breakfast starts at park open. WS is "open" up until France, in terms of being able to walk through. Nothing will be open but the bakery. You will not be allowed to enter early but when the gates open, you just bare to the right and you will be right there.

I only work Sundays and Mondays so I'll be there October 26 and 27.

Fifth floor is totally closed as of this morning around 11 AM. Since we have a few suites and deluxe rooms NOT on the fifth floor, we had to set up a small temporary lounge for those few guests in those suites and deluxe rooms. It only has a couple of tables and a very limited offerings.

Hello everyone! We came back from our wonderful vacation on the 13th of September. My Mom was so surprised for her Birthday trippixiedust: Here is a photo of the Boardwalk and Yacht Club from the Beach Club. We loved our stay at the Villas and can't wait to go back. I will be posting more pics later, probably on the photos page.

Also here is a video of some of our vacation....I hope it works because this is the first time that I have uploaded a video to youtube. Sorry if it doesn't.

I hope that everyone that is planning their trip or on them are enjoying every moment :goodvibes

I looked on the WDW site and didn't see them mentioned, but on the page here describing the rooms it says they do have them. Currently booked at Swan, but really want to stay at BC at Christmas, but need a room with a fridge. This site is such a great resource and so much fun to read! TIA!

Thank you for this info. Any chance 5th floor will be done by the end of January?

Yes, each room has a small fridge, which is just fine for chilling food and beverages.

If you are able to stay at BC at Christmas, you really don't want to pass on it; the holiday decorations, alone, will be worth it. Of course, that's in addition to all of the other benefits.

The Swan is nice, but it's not the BC.

That helps! Now seeing Teena's response about CL hopefully being done by the end of November makes me really wish for that as well-that would make an amazing Christmas! :)

Thank you for pointing us in the right direction today we seemed to get the room being used as the new lounge muddled up! The 6 and 4 looked very similar on the slip of paper we were given last night.
The tempory lounge is a 1 bedroom suite with the food and 1 table in what would normally be the lounge area with an extra few tables in the " bedroom"
the vanity/bathroom is screened off.
Popped in around 6pm and we were the only guests. The usual offering for that time but no decent coffee just thermos jugs. The nespresso machine will not be moving.
If anybody is really bothered about photos let me know.

Great day today but awful evening in the Yachtmans Steakhouse tonight, 1hr45mins after sitting down we still didn't have our mains which was the only course we had ordered.

I've just got more eating room when we hit the F&WF tomorrow.

Just booked our trip tonight, and splurged a bit - staying at YC! Only second disney trip with the husband and excited to be able to walk to Epcot and HS (our favs) February 22nd, hurry up!!! Plan to read through the feed within the next few days, but my first question is are there any quick breakfast options at YC? Fruit, coffee, just the basics? Thanks for any feedback or tips!

Yes. They are hoping it will be done by the end of November. But you all know how time estimates go.

Thank you, we are not staying club level actually :(, but was hoping they would be onto other floors by the time we get there. We are hoping maybe for a refurbished room. So, if they are done by the end of November with the 5th floor, they might have some non club level rooms done by the end of January. I hope so!!

Thank you for responding to my previous post so quickly!

Ale and Compass. Look at all the info on pages 1 & 2 (with pictures!) and I am sure all your questions will be answered. Hope you have a great stay in Feburary.
