Please remind me again of the ME pick up times at YC/BC? Am I remembering correctly that it's on the :05's? And if I have a 4:00 flight, anyone know if they will round up or down? (i.e. pickup at 1:05 or 12:35???). Trying to plan a final lunch at B&C! Thank you!!!

ME scheduled pick-up at BC is usually at five and 35 minutes after the hour (i.e. 1:05 and 1:35). The YC is about 5-10 minutes later. Again, they advise you to be waiting outside at least 10-15 minutes before advised pick-up time, though, as they can be as much as ten minutes early and will not wait for anyone who is not ready to board, at that time.

When I schedule pre-departure lunch at B&C, I try to get a reservation about two hours prior to scheduled ME time. Also, a reminder that the resort airline check-in desk closes promptly at 1:00 p.m.; if you plan on checking your bags and getting boarding passes there, allow enough time. Sometimes, it seems as if everyone shows up at 12:58 p.m. :).

I would guess that if you are at BC, your pick-up time will be 1:05.

Thank you, though we are at YC, so not sure if that changes things? :) Hubby and I will check out while the kids are doing the Albatross Treasure Cruise that morning (goes till 11:30) and I have an 11:40 ADR. Just trying to figure out if we can fit it all in.....even if we have to take our ice cream to go :)

There is not a hard and fast pickup time like the 05 and 35, I don't think. They are scheduled based on need.

When we stayed at the YC last September the Magical Express picked us up first before it went to the BC. I remember that because we got the front row. :)

I think that the pickup for a 4pm flight would be no earlier than 1pm.

You should be fine. Just let them know at B&C that you need to be out front to catch the ME at whatever time you are scheduled. They should be able to expedite your lunch.

No matter, there is always time for the ice cream!

We had a 5:40 flight yesterday, our Magical Depress pick up time at the BC was 2:35. We stopped at BWI and CB on the way to the airport.

Oooh...BOG disaster story....can you elaborate? Don't mean to pry, but you know we all love a good disaster story! Oh, and hey, if you're gonna cancel BOG then the next best thing is definitely Beaches and Cream! Thanks for all moments you shared from your trip :)

We had a 2:20 ADR for BOG lunch. We preordered earlier when we realized there was a line on the bridge if you had not. Tuesday was incredibly hot at MK and there was no way we were going to wait in line on the bridge. In the past when we had preordered with the FP+ test, we were sent directly to the dining room after check-in. This was not the case. After check-in we were directed to another line inside the castle, however, they were sending some parties direrctly to seating. It was excessively crowded. I think they were sending some preorders direct to table and some to the line. We were not one of the lucky ones and when we asked, they did not have a valid answer. As we had planned to leave MK after lunch and were hot and tired, we decided we would be better served to have lunch elsewhere. We texted IPO and they were able to get us an ADR for Beaches and Cream at 3:30. Easy decision! We had a very nice lunch at B&C and we were happy to exit MK. It appears they are overbooking the BOG lunch ADR. It is a shame they changed the system from the test period. We had eaten lunch there 4 times previously.

When do they give you your parking pass?

A bigger question is - do they still give parking passes? We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge in March and they were a test resort -- people were not given parking passes, they just used their Magic Bands. I'm not sure where Disney is in the testing process.

I teach 3rd grade, and today was our last day with students. I have a few days of post planning next week, but for the most part I am finished. Our YC trip begins in 19 days!!!!!

Thanks to all who gave me some hints, tips, and encouragement for my fall trip. I know it will be amazing.

What days do they have they pirate cruise again?

I emailed IPO and got this answer.

The information is on your reservation. We no longer have the parking placards. You will use either your magic band or show your id at the gate. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Have a Magical Day!

I was wondering if anyone has used Uber at the BC? We have a ADR at 1900 Park Fare for breakfast our last morning and don't really want to bus to MK and then Monorail/Boat over to the GF. I know we can cab it but didn't know if Uber was an option. I've read up a bit on it and it seems like initially there were some problems getting into certain Disney properties but most of that has been cleared up, especially when going resort to resort.

We've never used Uber but we have grabbed a taxi at the BC many times. We just ask the parking valets to get one for us. There are usually taxis parked off to the side, waiting for a fare. And with Cape May right there, you can often catch a cab that has just dropped off someone. :) We've never had to wait more than a few minutes to get a cab. We've paid less than $20 including tip to go from the BC to WL, so I would guess the cost would be similar for GF, although it is a little further than WL.

Yes, we used Uber this past Wednesday evening to go to the Poly! My first Uber ride. My college aged kids suggested this. It worked out great. We had a very nice Suburban pick us up, as we were a party of 5. Our driver also drives for an executive car company. Worked out great. Think it was $13.

We have also taken a taxi several times in the past from the BC without a glitch.

Ice Cream ordered from To Go window at Beaches and Cream yesterday. Partially consumed, I asked them to stop
Eating so I could take some quick pictures. A No Way Jose....

I hope this continues until my trip in August. I have several ice cream only ADR's which I could cancel if I can just order them at the To Go window. I cannot wait until my trip.

How much is the regular cab in comparison to Uber? I'm surprised Disney lets them on property because I thought they had an exclusive agreement with Mears Taxi for transportation within WDW property.
