That's the problem. They don't say far enough in advance for anyone but locals to actually plan to be there.

I'm not planning my trip around it, just curious what the celebration happens to be while I'm there. When do they usually announce it?

They've been announcing on Fridays for the upcoming week. They surprised me when they announced Valentine's week, July 1-7 and September 13. Possibly to appease APs. I hope they continue this!

It also appears that some weeks don't get anything and others a one day activity, not the entire week.

Disney advertised it as if every week was going to have something, but I'm not going to worry if my week has anything or not.

I'm going to Disney World and that's more than enough!

I'll wait and see. Since I am Feb 1-6, a very slow week before Valentines activities, I will be pleasantly surprised if we get anything. But we do get to see the Romance castle projection show, so that will be very nice. Never seen a digital projection show in person, only on YouTube. So that will be extra Magic for us

Can I ask how you know that? As there haven't been any just celebrated for the day or any reported to just last one day?

I think that this being a very slow week, up to today, this was targeted more at the locals and the fact they rarely see snow and the fact that there is snow up north now. (North being Alabama ) I think they are planning the bigger events for busier weeks, ie LLF next week which is a busier time than say this week or the weed after LLF.

Just got home today. This week was cold enough to snow & was anything but slow!!!

Limited time magic?! Whatever, not anything to even track

Wishing I could be at long lost friends week! When I was 6, I was so happy to meet Friar Tuck! I told him he was my favorite of all the Disney characters and he gave me the usual head nod and took a picture with me. I was so upset because be did not respond to me! I thought we would ha g out all day!

Do they not always do themes in back to back weeks (was excited for this year's theme but if they aren't doing anything the week of the Princess (after the 17th) I will not be a happy camper))?
