Is anyone having any luck booking on the website?

Also, quick question....for the 1st show...is it actually dark out yet? Does it make a difference? One member of our travel party thinks we should go to the latest show because it might feel more special.

Thoughts?

This is going to be a matter of opinion. I don't like watching the show in the daylight. The lights and decorations come alive at night and twinkle. It just feels mor Christmasy to me. The middle and last show will be in the dark.

I am so excited about this event! I have been to Disney a kajillion times. Never at Christmas! We have never seen the processional or the special holiday fireworks in the MK.

I made them pick between RC dinner and Beirgarten lunch. They wouldn't decide so I booked them both. That is what happens to wishy washy people in this house! The show looks great online, is it worth going to twice? I have RC dinner on the 23rd then Beirgarten lunch on the 27th.

I was never able to book online so I called. After 45 min. on hold I got my reservation. I can see the booking page with the list of restaurants but there are no "arrows" that you send you to the reservation page. Must be doing something wrong but don't know what.

I've been to the early show but the effects of the candles and lighting are not as dramatic as the later shows when it's completely dark. I won't do the early show again for that reason. This year we're trying the 6:45 performance with "dinner" at VN at 3:30!

Yeah....the deluxe sushi is about $28....highest is the filet mignon at $31......apps are max $10; drink $3 and dessert is $6 or $7, so the max you can force would be low $50's.

That type of value would have been fine. However, that isn't the way I order sushi. If you are fine with the deluxe sushi, then I agree it would be great. For me, I have moved over to Chefs...no biggie.

Yes...I finally got my adrs for the CP. I tried since tuesday, using this link:

which DID NOT WORK AT ALL . It wouldn't even let me pick a date in december.

Then I just went to the disney dining site (things to do -> dining-> make reservations). Then check the box for "dining events" under "dining experience" put in your date and "lunch" or "dinner" as a mealtime and hit search. That way the CP package including all restaurants and available times will pop up. This worked for me

This new WDW website is buggy as heck! I couldn't reserve the CP until I used ilovemk76's process. worked perfectly and I got the exact reservation I wanted. Thanks.

This is what I did:
Click on things to do
Go to events and tours. Scroll down to/and click on Candlelight Processional.
Click on Read more under candlelight dinner packages, the click on the candlelight dinner packages link.

Once there you should be able to click on the restaurant you want, and the date you want.

Oh wow...that is so cool! I have a cp adr for Garden Grill on Dec. 6th since I really wanted to see Whoopie Goldberg but I also made an adr for coral reef on the 10th in case someone even more interesting would fill the "tba"-spot...now I'm gonna keep both adrs and see the CP twice

Hmmm...with the media show being on the 8th, gotta say I was expecting someone with more CURRENT star power.....yeah she was/is a big star, but not exactly big news worthy currently.

We'll be there that week also, so I think I'll go make a reservation to see her too, lol....this will be 3 speakers now. I'm addicted.
