2013 Candlelight Processional Watch

yep, it looks like they closed the window of opportunity...

But when I got the conf. page, it did say the show time in the description...

I did not get a conf. e-mail. Did anyone?

And in MDE it says this...

CAN - La Hacienda de San Angel Inn (8:15PM) Dinner
Sunday, December 8, 2013 (4:30 PM, Dinner)

I'm glad someone here has checked and said they will honor these reservations we were all able to make!

I don't even normally check this thread in the am before I get to work! LOL...

It was fate I guess!

Hmmm.. that's weird.
I didn't know when I started trying to book this morning that it was a glitch. I just saw everyone trying to book, got all cranky that I couldn't and called. I was surprised that they weren't taking phone reservations until July 9th when the website was booking but I didn't question it. I was too busy trying to figure our how to get a reservation from Canada:confused3
That stinks. I didn't know it was an error.

That's an old list of narrators. The list for 2013 has not been released.

I really didn't like trying to book without knowing who the narrator would be for that night. For me, that is alot of the experience.

Same here. I don't blame people at all for taking advantage of the loophole, but I wish WDW could just get their act together! Geesh! :rolleyes2

The DIS is one savvy collective!

That's not it...that story says it starts Nov 26, the day after Thanksgiving, but Thanksgiving is Nov 28th. That list is from 2010.

I was also able to book about 30 minutes ago for December 7. The latest time it showed available was 3:20 for dinner. Too early for us, since we have a late breakfast at Akershus that day, but I booked it for now.

I called the reservation line just to be sure it was really booked, and it was. She told me I was booked for the 6:45 show, even though I did not see a showtime on my confirmation. I did not get a confirmation email either. But she assured me she saw it on her screen.

EDIT, this may not be the list, sorry, I'll go back in my cave again/

Don't feel bad - you are not the first one to do that. That article comes up when you google for 2013 Candlelight Processional Narrators and I only noticed it was for 2010 because someone posted that at the end of the article. No harm, no foul. :flower3:

i went back a couple pages, so is booking open for CP or not?:confused3

It was earlier this morning. But apparently that was a glitch, and they are no longer taking reservations. The official plan is for it to open up July 9.

I didn't get an email confirmation. But I did do a screen capture and will hang on to that just in case. This is what I captured below.

Holidays Around the World - Candlelight Dinner Packages Tokyo Dining LunchSaturday, November 30, 2013 (12:30 PM, Lunch)

Confirmation Number: 43******** (edited by me)

Reservation

Date: Saturday, November 30, 2013

Time: 12:30 PM, Lunch

Dining Party: 2 Guests

Location: Epcot, World Showcase

My reservation only gives my dinner time (3:40PM) but not the show time which I believe would be the second one of the evening.
I haven't received an email confirmation either, but I printed my confirmation when I booked it. Hopefully they honor it.

I was just checking now and it offered me Garden Grill on Nov 30, for 3:20. I did not try to actually book it, since I am already booked, but it did tell me it was available for CP. :confused3

I just tried that exact date, time, and restaurant, but it tells me that no tables are available. Hrmm.

We need a "nervous eye twitch" smilie. I feel like a cat chasing a laser pointer.

Congrats to all of you who got to make a ressie. :rotfl:I was reading back post but not sure how I make a ressie on the 9th for CL Can someone explain where to do this on the dining site on the 9th? Thanks a lot !!!!!!

My reservation is showing as confirmed as a CP package under the My Reservations section of the MDE website. It shows the meal time as well as the show time.

Weird. I just tried again, and it still offers me that 3:20.
That is the only time and restaurant that is available, though.

I know, I need to get a life.

I just keep checking this thread, in case anyone has any news about narrators or any new info regarding them canceling these "glitch" reservations.

Regarding narrators, I do have my preferences, but we can only go on Nov. 30, so it doesn't really matter who is there on our night.

As long as it's not Gilbert Gottfried, I will be happy!
