2013 Booking?

Does anyone know yet when the 2013 Disney World packages will be available for online booking? I hear it's best to book as early as possible for the best deal. We are planning to take our first trip to WDW next summer. Thanks!

I think sometime in August you will be able to book online but you should be able to phone in and reserve now. Have fun for your Summer adventure, we are planning a Mardi Gras Disney trip.

New ticket prices just came out. So packages should be next for 2013. The time frame I keep seeing mentioned on Dis is mid June til August.
As for the best deals if you book early. Not really. Pins and free dining can be added at anytime.

This was the exact info I came to the boards looking for. Last year it was released June 10, I believe. The year before it was in July, and the year before that, it was released in August.

I know I could book Room Only ressies right now, but I'd rather just book the package so I can stop second-guessing what resort.

We want to go in February 2013 so I have been on the look out for any dates that come out. So if there are any deals going on, I can apply them even after booking?

Also looking forward to the Be Our Guest restaurant, I heard it should open late 2013. Keeping an eye out on that too since we can begin making dining reservations in August!

We have our room reservation made for May 2013 at AoA. I will be adding meals and tickets as soon as they come out - can't wait!!!

you can apparently make reservations for room ONLY if you call directly or go through a travel agent. You won't be able to purchase any packages or tickets yet.

Oh, well. We might have to wait another year anyway (there are 6 of us and we're not rich), but hopefully we'll be able to book in late summer/early fall. I just don't want to book too late because if you book right now for this summer for example the deals aren't that great.

How are the deals usually in February, just in case we end up having to wait for our tax return to book our trip?

My first trip I did with my tax return, I booked in Feb for an April trip. Yes it was hectic planning it. but all went well.

I hope this helps to give you an idea how the rates look across the year.
