Hi everybody ... I'm back from Jeanne's and Lily's. Had a wonderful time. Got recognized (3000 miles away) at the pool at Jeanne's apartment complex. "Aren't you Teena the Greeter from the Beach Club at Disney World?" Very funny. Jeanne got the biggest kick out of that!

Thanks Dee for getting the new thread up and running!!!!!

I'm working this Sunday and then off on Monday for four nights at Disney's Vero Beach. Then I'll be working Sunday and Monday all through June.

Hope to see lots of you soon!

We all knew you were a celebrity!!! Welcome back :)

My room wasn't ready at 3 and by 4, I still hadn't received a text so I went to the desk and found that my room was ready.

Hurricane Hannah's - I was so happy to see the expanded menu and the service was so much better than my last visit. I had the new bacon/cheese/apple butter sandwich. The bread gets too soggy and while it tastes unique, it fell apart due to the sogginess and needed something lighter to balance the rich, heavy taste.

Beach club marketplace still has a limited menu.

This sounds similar to how my vacation started in April! We wanted to switch rooms (ended up 1st floor with one bed and that sofa/daybed thing) b/c we really didn't want to be 1st floor and wanted to have 2 beds. We had to stay one night in that room before they could switch us. The next day, we tried to "check in" again to get our new cards and room, but we were told no to use our old cards and they'd text when the new room was ready - flash forward to 6:30pm with no text or call about the room. I had planned to do the parks in the a.m., come back and swim, and then eat at Cape May for dinner. So, that ruined our plans as we had to put our luggage in storage and had no room.

Totally agree with you about the food. Hate the limited menu at the CS and did not like that grill cheese and bacon from Hannah's. There is nothing my DD will eat on either menu. So, when on the DDP, we can never get our QS in at the hotel for lunches or breakfast.

But still love the resort and will give it another whirl in July.

We will see you soon!!! Our countdown is lucky 13! (Which means we will see you in 17.) Glad you had a great visit with Jeanne and Princess Lily.

In the tradition of being hospitable to all guests of the resort,

Um... :welcome:

I'll add you to the Bee Our Guest list. Are you one of those May flies that will only be enjoying the good life for a day or so?

:butterfly

I hate to be discouraging, but I think you may find a better fit over at the Poly, what with the volcano pool with flowing larva and all.

I can understand your reluctance to make your dining plans so far in advance- from what I am told, your kind is accustomed to winging it.

One bit of advice- the recommendation from this thread if you really want to get buzzed is the Sunken Treasure. I would like to suggest the Seafood roll, too, but the jury is still out on that one.

Thanks for the big welcome. Very punny. Seeing as we only live for 15 or so days I guess we are just seasonal guests. 15 days is just an estimate. It's a lot shorter if you have that crazy women chasing us around the pool and swatting us with a noodle. Those things HURT by the way!!!!

Funny, there were chairs there last May! I sat out there and watched the sun rise one morning (time difference was on my side plus I sleep badly anywhere but home).

Hope you and your maggots have a great time! Try landing on the Kitchen Sink! They look delicious.

Thanks for the tip. Where does one find this special sink or will any one make 'doo'?

Thank you!

And thank you!!!

Congrats!!! We will try to leave some water in SAB and some Sunshine for you!!!

Why thank you!!!

You can have as many cards as you want for regular photopass. For photopass+ you only have one card - that is it... ONE solitary card. If you prepay for Photopass you save a lot (i want to say $50 but I can't remember).

I've been trying to find some really effective fly paper. Do you know the best brand?

I am really surprised that in this day and age one can be so politically incorrect! We know longer call them maggots dahling, fly larva is the correct term.

We buy our fly paper at Walmart. When your wife is always pregnant and laying hundreds of eggs each day the kids go through a lot of paper. As for being politically correct we prefer all the manure that politicians can dish out.

Big wet sloppy kisses.... your friend Buzzy

Double Digits today!!!! So excited to finally be in double digits to our 1st YC stay!

I've looked for you, glad to know that I wasn't missing you by chance. See you Sunday! I'll be with the handsome little birthday boy Anthony (he'll be seven on Sunday, proudly displaying his button no doubt!)!!

Sigh, what a day. No park for us today. DS (6) woke every hour on the hour crying all night long last night. By 7am, we were calling our insurance company and scoping out emergency dentists. Now the positive news, by 9am a dentist, Celebration Pediatric Dentistry, called us back and agreed to see him at 11am. Whew. They accepted our insurance actually, but because we are from NY I had to pay OOP and get reimbursed. That's fine, the dental office even submitted the paperwork for us (wow that was cool). A taxi to the dentist, to Publix for an antibiotic and Motrin, then back to BC cost ALMOST as much as the visit itself. But the doctor was awesome and I would recommend him to anyone with a child dental emergency while at WDW. The rest of the day was a mellow pool day followed by the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. Looking forward to a brighter day tomorrow!!

Double Digits Today :cool1:

It seems like I was just counting down to make my ADRs and now I am at double digits. I sure hope the next 99 days goes by just as fast.

This thread has been so helpful for both information about the BC as well as getting my daily Disney fix. I just wanted to thank everyone who participates :goodvibes

Sitting on our balcony enjoying the morning quiet! Had a great day yesterday at the Magic Kingdon and Epcot. We ate at Coral Reef and Jim loved it. We will be going back there in December. Just going to relax around the pool today and have dinner at Fulton's. we are quickly becoming Y&B converts. Cannot wait to bring my family back in December.

On our way to the airport. I've kept my murderous threats to a minimum (less than 10). Hope I didn't forget anything important!
