Hello BC/YC Lovers!!!!!

Just popping in from our wonderful room at YC!!!

I plan on doing a trip report when I'm back, but since we still have 7 days left I wanted to do a quickie update.

Our room is very nice! We booked SV CL and I'm not sure if what we ended up with is just a really good GV or in fact a water view but it's beautiful!!!

Here's our view:

Oh! And we were Family of the Day!

And....the shower heads look like this...(for the PP who asked)

And the beers in the CL lounge are Heineken, Bud Light, Sam Summer, and Yeungling.

We do think the YC is a beautiful resort!!

More to come later!

Great view! That is Garden View Club Level, not standard! Yeah for the upgrade. Can't wait to here what you think of everything......

Just an FYI on the water bottles on CL....we are here at YC now and were heading down to SAB....the CM's stopped us and asked if we would like water to take with us. We said sure and were asked how many. We took 2 bottles, they were 20 ounce bottles. Hope that answers some questions on that situation!!!

I believe the door is unlocked for most of the day, unless that has changed with the new RFID readers. There is what looks like a key-card lock in the pictures and I'm not sure if you need to use your key to get in "after hours"-whenever that is.

I am not sure if you have ever tried the water shoes from lands end but they have always worked really well for my kids.

The YC and the BC do not have an interior connection. So if you were able to get into the BC you would have to walk back outside again to get to the YC. But it would make a nice way to avoid rain and heat.

I am all set to fly to MCO from LGA on Thursday morning.... I keep getting emails from Jetblue.... Flight delays, flight cancellations... NO GOOOD I tell you!!! IF my flight to my happy place gets canceled I'm gonna be soooo upset!!

I'm on the first flight out on Thursday morning please keep fingers crossed!!! Hope everyone else going doesn't have any problems with their flights!!!

just got back. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The whole trip was amazing. Beach Club is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO beautiful and relaxing. The people there are all so nice. The pool was soooooooooo beautiful and relaxing. OMG- just one of the most relaxing and beautiful places I have ever been too. I am from New England and we love Cape Cod - so combining Disney and a New England seaside resort was just the perfect match for us.

Now how will we stay anywhere else?

You won't! You are DOOMED to forever vacation at Disney's Beach Club Resort & Villas (I can here the bus voice saying that).

Hey! What are you waiting for???? Where's your ticker for your NEXT trip to Disney's Beach Club Resort & Villas???

Got Kayla this AMAZING waterproof Cast Cover. She is wearing it now and swimming like a fish. Just so nice to see her just cut loose. This temporary DISability is wearing on her. At least we know cast or not, she'll be swimming in May at... Disney's Beach Club Resort and Villas!!!

LOL! I hear ya! We're about 75 miles west of you and ain't no way!

Our flight is 11:14 a.m. on 5/17, hopefully by thin TIIC not to be taken as a political statement will come to a reasonable solution.

Great news!!!

Got slightly wet above the cast because she started swimming and turning too fast. Had her get out then because once it starts to get damp...

But overall, I would call it a smashing success and I have a very happy 11 yo at the moment. She really needed to "stretch her legs" and get off those bloody

Ugh... I hated those I was on them last year for about a total of 16 weeks!! So glad your daughter can enjoy the water even in a cast!!
