I am considering photo pass+ so I can be in some pics for once instead of watching my vacation thru a camera lens like usual.
My question is....I got a new iMac for Christmas this year that doesn't have a cd/DVD drive. So are the images from the photo pass+ only on cd or can I download them to my Mac some other way? Not sure it's worth it if only on CD since I can't load them onto my computer that way. I haven't idea why the apple "genius" told my DH I wouldn't need a cd drive on my computer!?
If a CD drive is important to you, you can buy an Apple® - SuperDrive 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive. You can plug it into a USB port when you want to use it, and then unplug it and put it away when you don't need it. You can get them directly from Apple or at Best Buy:

If you buy a Mac Mini, you can't get a CD drive in it even if you want to. Not sure about the iMac. Not sure if the genius said to your daughter, "Don't bother getting an optical drive in the iMac, you won't need it" or "You can't get an optical drive in your iMac, but you won't need it anyway."
