2013? Am I crazy?

mkmommy

So are you going March 9th? I looked and there is nothing below a category 9A now. I heard about the 7A price, some people think it was a glitch! Nice catch!

We are booked, so excited to go to San Juan:banana:

You should check out the price for 7a obstructed balcony rooms. I moved an on board booking with 10% discount and it is less per person than your cat 9 room, but even without the discount there is not that big difference.

I am surprised at the rates, it is only $400 more than my 2012 Mexican Riveria cruise on the Wonder. It is also less then the RCCL Allure that was my backup plan if the Fantasy was too high.

Just went to look into it, and only cat 6 left so just $100 more than our 8C, but by the time I went to make the change it was gone! :scared1:

**UPDATE**
Got a cat 7 for $75!!! :)

2gr8DisneyKids ... now you've done it! You made me change my 9D to a 7A!

It only cost me $200 more ... My wife is going to love it! :cool1:

I'm also crazy! We are still debatting about going next year since we will have a baby. Our trip is booked for September during the free dining BUT the baby will be only be 4 months old and I'm not sure how thing will be. We haven't told our girls about it for that precise reason. We will see how things go next summer before deciding. That being said, I am planning a trip in May 2013 regardless. My goal is to be there for our 11 wedding anniversary since we won't be there for our 10th as planned. I'm more excited over the 2013 trip then our 2012 because I know that one is going to happen!

Gotta enable the fellow Canadians to get a verandah! ;)

Need to enjoy the views and weather before returning to the last bit of winter...

I just booked this cruise too. I have posted on the cruise board, but I'm surprised that category-for-category, the price is about the same compared with our Magic cruise this coming March Break. Now I'm going to have to go back and see what a balcony would cost! :rotfl2:

Ted, you have to start the cruise thread on this one! I've gotta say, after following you on the boards I would love to meet you!

Ted, - I don't know what you work at, but I think you missed your calling, you should have been a travel agent! Its great to be able to ask a question and have a reply as quickly as you often do. In my nxt life I am going to a travel specialist!

Just booked March 10/13 4 night cruise on the Dream. Happy with the price! Much lower then our last cruise in March 2011.

I'm a Torontonian currently living in South Korea. This March/April, I'm doing a trip of Asia before arriving back in TO. Lots of places to see on this side of the world, but all I can think of now is the Disney trip I plan to take with my girlfriend next December!!
Still no match for the happiest place on earth!

Well were planned for 2012 and there has been discussion of a cruise for 2013. So I guess we are planning?

As a DVC member, I'm always looking 2-3 years ahead. I need to make sure that my points are available for future vacations (since I'm perpetually borrowing the points). Our vacations are usually March and Aug.

We have a 2 wk vacation booked for March 2012 and another 2 wk in Aug 2012 (1wk in WDW and a 7 night Caribbean cruise on the Disney Fantasy). I am in constant booking mode for airlines, resorts, cars (at times) and now for cruises.

We have a cruise booked for Mar 2013 for 7 nights and planning to stay at a dvc resort before that. Although I can't book it until April 2012, I do have it planned.

So, I don't think you're crazy at all. :) :goodvibes

Count us in- We have about 16 of us going Nov. 2013 and I want to use my points for about 5 studios at BLT so I am planning already.

In the meantime though DH and I are going to take our DGS in April and then have a romantic getaway in Dec. at WL.

Yep! We already have 2 Disney trips planned for 2013! We just booked DCL Fantasy Jan/2013 (for my 40th Birthday!), and we're planning to use DVC points for a stay at AKV with the in-laws (8or 9 of us) - hopefully a grand villa, for Aug/2013. As other posters have said, as a DVC owner, you're always in planning mode!!:thumbsup2

Should be interesting to see how many of us are on the Fantasy March 9th, 2013. We booked two dummies this past August with plans to move them to March 2013 and March 2014. DW's birthday is March 15th (Castaway Cay day) so she is happy.

I'm looking at late August early September 2013 for my 50th birthday, so no I don't think that you're crazy. I've already started planning. I can't wait until next summer so that I can book my trip.:)

Have you already moved your dummy cruise to March 9, 2013?

We are going October 14-20, 2012 and I've already started to plan. My DH thinks I'm crazy and obsessed but he doesn't seem to understand that it takes time to plan a trip like this. When we went in 2007 we booked a couple months before going and it was our first time. I did only minor planning, such as dining reservations but that is about it. The trip went ok but I think it could've gone better with better planning. So I'm starting 11 months in advance. :surfweb:
