I'll try to catch up on the past couple of days on the thread tomorrow morning.

Tonight is opening night for Ben's play Myth Adventures. He plays Theseus, the Athenian who faces the Minotaur in the labyrinth. We have shows tonight, tomorrow, two on Saturday and Sunday. It's All Greek All Week!

We opted to upgrade to Beach Club after being long time POR fans... DW can't tell if blankets or duvet are thick or thin. Being northerners, she is debating on packing a blanket. Are the linens different or thicker than POR?

We were fine in October but u can always ask for another blanket. Hope u like BC. We hated it & are headed back to POR in 2 weeks.

thank you for the quick response -- will they still let me register her for 1 night even though we already are a family of 4 (3 actually adults since one of the kids is 12)? I just assume if we have a daybed she will sleep on that and if not then she would probably even sleep on the floor!!

The 12 year old is not an adult in the room count. For room purposes 2 children under the age of 17 stay free in your room. If she is over 17 then you will need to register her and pay the $25 fee for the third adult. When making the reservation request a daybed for the room. As you say she can then sleep on the daybed. It is my understanding that you are able to have up to 5 people in a BC room. If there is no daybed, you may be able to request a rollaway cot for the room for her to sleep upon.

Agreed - and I'm one of those, so I get it! Nannette, we're superstitious theatre types, so maybe you could edit your post to read "Break a Leg!!!" Although our boys love it when someone says "good luck" because it allows them to break into "It's Bad Luck to Say Good Luck on Opening Night" from The Producers!

Our teenagers just finished a 3-show performance weekend four days ago and are going into another one (different show) for this weekend. Our youngest has his theatre class performance on Saturday in the mix, too. Hoping for lots of "broken legs" all around! We'll be thinking of Ben!

It will also depend on your room view category. Some categories (LV CL for instance) have a max of 4 people to the room.

Sorry I've been gone for so long. I got trapped in Teena's suitcase when she came back from California and I didn't get out before she aired the suitcases out again! I guess that's what I get for being nosey!

I Buzzy the fly have been one busy guy!! Mrs. Buzzy has laid down the law that I have to help our hundreds of Larva with their homework. It's exhausting doing the eating, writhing and fly genetics night after night with them.

I can't wait to take you and Ninja Mom on a tour of all of my favorite eating spots. I gained a couple of grams thanks to food and wine but its just melting off since I started coaching the Larva's soccer team. Let me tell you that was a mistake! Never volunteer to coach a sport where you need to use your legs and your kids haven't develop them them yet!

Well today was the last day to select our MagicBands colors, and they start processing them tomorrow woo hoo, only 32/31 days left depending on when you read this

I'm so excited!! We are able to book our dinner reservations. I was able to get CRT for breakfast on our second day, the Laua on the third day, le celier on our fifth. Those our restaurants for all 4 of us. I was also able to score be our guest for dinner on the 24th of May which is my husband and I 11th anniversary. Now just to score the wishes dessert party when it opens up!!!!

This was posted on a separate thread on the DIS- does anyone who has been to the Y&BC recently know where the pressed coin machines are and which logos are available?

I'm getting conflicting reports about the pressed coins at the Beach Club. One website says that BC has a pressed coin machine with the BC logo, but another site says that only YC has the pressed coin with their logo. I'm staying at BC, so I would like a coin with the BC logo. Anyone been recently who can either confirm/deny that? TIA

I have a pressed penny from both the Yacht Club and the Beach Club and pressed quarters with the logo from each resort.

I did not get them myself, they came from a friend who visited a couple of years ago, so I don't know what the current availability is. At the time, the machines were in the arcade. Again, I don't know if that is still the case.

I am going to post your question over on the BC/YC FAQ board to see if anyone knows the answer about what is there now, or if someone could check on an upcoming visit.
