Today was anything but an ordinary day . This was the day that I was giving myself an extra trip to the world this year . Started out great flights were great on time actually early getting into Orlando . Straight to DME and away we go yea. Get to the beach club in 40 minutes . Can not wait to get to SAB . I did online check in so the CM Alexa walked me right into the desk waved to Teena and said I would be right back . Not a chance I reached for my wallet and it was gone , of course my whole life is in there and of course I panicked . We'll let me tell you all it seemed as though Disney Froze time for me and three CM immediately starting calling Mears and explaining the situation . They also assured me that all would be ok . While this is all going on another CM was able to check me in , had my magic band so I was able to by the time she was finished checking me in Alexa came back and informed me that the bus was on the way back to the Beach club still not sure if the wallet was still there I had called my son to tell him I my have to have him cancel my credit cards . Lucky for me it was on the bus and that made my day . All is well that ends well right not so fast . They gave me a room on the fourth floor with a lagoon view . While talking to Teena ,Alexa comes back to me and says Michael would you please come with me and she escorted. Me to the fifth floor I had been upgraded to concierge with a room right over SAB I could not believe it . Someone was looking over me today . Went to SAB saw Rocky and ordered a stiff drink and thanked my lucky stars .

Quite the day! Geese! So glad everything worked out!!! Have a magical time!!! Out of curiosity what was the route for the drop off resorts fromMCO to the BC? Heading there in May and trying to see what the order is. Know it changes frequently but figured I try to get an idea.

Hello all!

DH, myself and our 7 month old baby are heading to BCV on October 30th for 8 nights and I'm so excited!

This is our first time staying here and I have a few little questions. I'm sure they've all been answered before but I don't think I can read all the pages to find out, sorry!

* Are clothes drying racks available? I know there's a clothes dryer in the villa but I'd prefer not to dry all our clothes that way if possible, in case of shrinkage!

* Does anybody have a photo of the crib (pack & play) and / or high chairs available?

* Can you buy basic groceries like a loaf of bread, milk and fruit anywhere on BC / YC property? We don't plan on cooking much but it would be nice to at least make some toast in the mornings...

The Beach Club Marketplace (gift shop) has a grocery section because of the presence of the Villas. The DVC member website has an order form for members. We think the prices are the same as in the Marketplace. It shows:
- Arnold's white bread at $4.29 per loaf
- Arnold's wheat bread same price
- Thomas' English Muffins at $4.19 for a 6-pack
- Thomas' plain bagels at 4.49 for a 6-pack
- Thomas's raisin bagels same price
- Arnold sandwich thins at $3.89 for an 8-pack
- Arnold premium Italian bread at $2.99 per loaf.

They do have milk (whole, 2%, 1%, fat free) and fruit.

There is a retractable clothes line in the bathroom either in the tub or the shower, depends on which room type you are getting.
There is a pack and play in the closet but you can request a crib. We did. This is a picture of the crib from our room at BC but we had the same crib at BCV. We were just there from the 6th to the 16th so this is recent.

Here is a picture of the high chair. This is from the restaurant but it is the same as the one in the villa, but the other one was green.

Just returned yesterday from a 7 night stay at POP, it was not magical, we will be back to BC in 2015! Can't wait! We visited on Monday and Wednesday, it feels like home to us.

Sorry that your recent trip was a bit disappointing.

The Marketplace at BC has many grocery items! You should have no problem getting those basic items, though they are going to be much more pricey than if you would get them from a store off property.

Quick Question.. I'm seeing conflicting reports. CAN you bring your own tubes to SAB? I'm seeing yes and no, on different posts. Thanks in advance!

Great question! We've been wondering this on another thread. I was thinking about packing one .

Here's the info I have on pool tubes/pool noodles:

Tubes are now available in the lazy river free of charge, based of course on availability. I had no problems finding one during an afternoon in July when I "timed" the lazy river- 7 minutes for one spin around the river

Tubes from home may NOT be used in the lazy river, or SAB. OK in the quiet pools.

One minor exception- infants/toddlers who are within arms length of an adult may use flotation devices that go around the body, and water wings are ok, too.

Safety vests are available poolside, based on availability.

Pool noodles, inflatable or regular, are permitted.

Wow! What an incredible start to your vacation. First person I know who has been on a rollercoaster before even getting to a park!

It's a slow day at work today! So I've managed to answer the Magic Band + survey Disney sent me! I had no negative things to say... I'm a MB convert!! I also checked my MDE page and found that my MB for Oct/Nov trip is currently being customized and preparing to ship!! This is very cool because while I was there on 9/18 I was disappointed in my color selection because the orange clashed with the Mickey bling that could be purchased to jazz up the band I wished I had picked the yellow, so knowing I have a trip coming and even though I was told (by the DVC Gods who I called) that I would not be receiving a new band I decided to go ahead and customize the one online that was showing as available to customize.... and today it says it is being customized and will ship shortly!!! More bling in my future!!!

Ok well I will leave it at this and continue to surf the net and play games at this place I call a job!!

Know this feeling well. Lost mine on Test Track once on check in day. I don't usually carry a wallet to park but we went to EPCOT while waiting on our room.

Luckily for me a honest guest/castmember turned it over to Guest Relations!
