I got an agent right at 7:00. He however HUNG UP on me, when I told him I didn't want to connect the reservations to our hotel. His exact words, "if you are not going to let me go my job" click. Took 27 minutes with 3 phones to get back through, said the wait time is 45 minutes. I am livid.

So excited!!! I actually got through on the phones by 0703...booked 3D Dessert Party with sweet seats for 10/26. The CM was slightly confused...she kept asking me if I wanted the 3D dessert party or the sweet sunday seats. Then she asked what time I wanted the dessert party...with some gentle guidance we got where we needed to be. LOL...I can't wait

Finally figured out where to book on-line. Book 3-D Desert party for 10/5. Was not able to get Jamie Deen demo on 10/6. Disney does a terrible job on there web sites. Cannot believe there was not a link from there Food & Wine Site.

Was put on hold right at 7 am and told 9 minute wait. It was actually 20 minutes, got through at 7:20 am.

Got everything I wanted:

Kitchen Memories with Robert Irvine 10/26 Note that the CM didn't know it was Robert Irvine that day, only that it was Kitchen Memories at 10 to 12.

Party for the senses with reserved seats for 10/27. First time we are NOT doing the wine room. We'll see but I"m guessing just the reserved seats will be fine for us.

The CM also read the policies for me for just the first event and said they were the same for all events so she wasn't going to read them over and over for each one. Good thing because she sounded like she'd just gotten up herself and hadn't had her coffee yet. She spoke in a sloooooow southern drawwwwwwwl. I was ready to choke her but as long as she booked what I wanted, I didn't hassle her to hurry up.

Question: If I make 3D Dessert or PFTS reservations online, will they let me upgrade them to the special seating later? Once things calm down a bit (and assuming there are special seats still available)?

35 minutes. And then I got a CM who was a little slow. But I booked Wine View lounge at the 10/13 PFTS. Decided to splurge since my schedule is too undecided to book much else.

Side topic- I love the Disney hold music as much as the next gal, but Small World? Really? Just hearing that song over and over while on hold is probably enough to make weaker mortals hang up. Hmmm. Maybe its a part of a disney conspiracy to clear the system?

We're doing PFTS with reserved seat on 10/27 also - was told we will be sharing a table (fine with me) - I don't think the WVL is worth the extra $100 given this new option...kinda surprised some people are still booking it.

I clicked "dining event" at top, then selected "culinary demo" then chose the date on the right side 10/3.

The only thing that showed up was the Raglan Road chef.

I'm still on hold...maybe there are some tickets available online and some on the phone? i dunno :/

I was very fortunate and was speaking with someone at 7:01am. Unfortunately, Robert Irvine was sold out already. She was as shocked as I was. I guess Annual Passholders, DVC members, etc. Oh well. We will still have a really good time. Got some other reservations that I wanted. Good luck everyone.

After you do get through and booked ask for a supervisor and let him/her have it

I just got off the phone a few minutes ago. The computer was allowing my agent to SEE the stuff and not book at first. She finally was able to put my stuff in the "cart" and book it.

10/19 Mexican tequila lunch

DH and I are really looking forward to it.

And I got through straight away first time no hold nothing. Called bang on 12pm Uk time. The CM I spoke to said it was crazy busy on the phones I must have just been luky.
