2012 Earmarked Conference

They were able to point me in the right direction. I ended up talking with event services but I'm not sure of the weekend hours.

I do think you are WISE to stay on top of it.

DId those of you who didn't have a place to pay get confirmation emails? Mine had payment info at the bottom it says the following:

event description
delegate early bird registraion QTY (1) , AMT ($$$)

Date Payments (lists cc last 4) Received (says yes) total and then amt due (now says $0)


Maybe your owner/manager is paying for your delegate spots and that's why you didn't have a place to pay?

The event managment team (I could tell when I spoke to them) thought that I had done it incorrectly. But, I know that I did not. This is so important and I was looking all over trying to pay:) I did get a confirmation email ~ this is what the bottom of it looks like:


Note: The $129 per-night room rate at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort (plus applicable tax) will be charged upon check-in unless other payment arrangements have been made.

Full refunds are available if cancelled on or before February 15, 2012. Conference fees and/or guest fees will not be refunded if registration is cancelled on or after February 16, 2012, nor will they be given after the conference.

I'm the agency owner as well & my email said this same thing on the bottom of my Registration Confirmation! I will definitely contact them on Monday!! Thanks for all this info!
 

Anyone on the wait list getting through?

I don't think they'll be going to the Waitlist for at least another week, if not longer! The people who were able to register had 10 days to pay from the time their registration confirmation email was sent to them & completed. From what I can understand, as of yesterday, they were still in the process of sending out these Registration emails for the ones who did get processed.

I agree that it should be another week before we start seeing movement on the wait list.

Really? !! people whose email addresses were included in the agency owner's selections still haven't received registration emails. ICK I'd be beside myself at this point.

I'm hoping by next week I'll have talked with a DCL rep and have a stateroom assignment! I think since i didn't register until late in the afternoon on Friday that I won't hear anything from DCL for a while.

ANyone get on the Fantasy Tour? It was sold out by the time I got registered. Not a huge deal as I've been on the Dream, but very excited to see the ship. :)
 
Call me an optimist but I am hoping for earlier activity on the wait list than next week :)

I just reread my registration email. It says we may not receive DCL contact until within 3 weeks of payment. I paid on Friday...so it could be February 10th. Some of you paid the night before so it could be February 9th for you (but I'd anticipate earlier if you were on the front-end of that registation. Cancelation with refund can happen until 2.15.2012.

Anyone with prior year conference experience willing to share when the break-out sessions were announced in the past?
 
Any earmark conference veterans on here? I am curious what they're like. I am so excited I am already counting down the days!
 
Does anyone from last year know how the wait list process works? How long does the process take....I mean do they take cancellations up until a week before the sailing or is there an official "end" to the process? I mean...will we get an email that says "we are done with the wait list...if you haven't gotten on the ship then better luck next year".

Any experienced waitlisters from last year?

I am so excited I was so disappointed that I didnt get in when
I first registered. As far as the payment I also noticed there was
no place to make my payment I just mailed in a check and I have
already been contacted from Disney about dinning and where to send
my documents.
I cannot wait!!!:cool1:

What info did you receive about Dining?? They took my credit card over the phone, but they said I would be contacted w/in 3-weeks to be assigned a cabin. What documents did you need to send in??

they emailed me yesterday and wanted to know my address to mail documents. I asked about dinning since my mom has diabetes and needs to eat early. She was going to get bak with me.

Oh ok, they had verified all my info when I made my payment on the 23rd. I think at this point, I'm just waiting on cabin assignment, then documents to be mailed. If they are going by their 3 week mark, I should definitely here from them by the end of next week!! :woohoo:
