Maybe everybody else knew but me but I was happy to hear that DDP is now available for 2012 vacations. This is good news because I have a million ADRs to book coming up and am glad that the DxDDP will be loaded in for us, making things easier.

Anyone ever booked CRT for 13?!?

You can expect additional restaurants to be added as 2012 gets closer.

I was quoted 85.52 adults/23.79 kids. Was not told of any other pricing for holidays.

Thanks for the reassurance - I'm not worried about the list right now - I do expect more to come on line as the year progresses. We always go in Jan-Mar so have been through this before (just not as a DVC member).

What is the price? Does DVC still pay the non-peak price all year round?

Thanks, Tiger

You have to open the pdf versions of the plan brocures to see pricing. It only shows one price, so it appears as if there is no seasonal pricing for members in 2012.

Wow, delux ddp went from $78 to $85 (in 2009 it was $71, so I guess a $7 increase each year?). I wonder if they dropped anything (like appetizer).

The regular one went up to $51. Glad we're in an economic downturn or it might have been higher.

With buffets at 36.99 it is all getting pricey.

One of the reasons I rent car, better cheaper food off site. Disney pricing is just getting unreal. I can afford it, but... I feel for families!

I usually do one or two signature resturants on site, but otherwise the food is no longer a draw. for me the Tables in Wonderland card works well....

::yes::

Wow, that pricing is just nuts! Especially charging $36.99 for a buffet that you wouldn't pay $15 for anywhere else. Disney Dining must be making a mint.

I haven't followed DDP for years since they scuttled it, so I am a little shocked. Hopefully they've made HUGE improvements in the food in the last 3-4 years.

We've only eaten two table service meals onsite in our last three trips -- and one of those was a casual lunch at Olivia's.

Hi would you be able to post the link to this as we are going to be renting points to stay at OKW Dec 13th next year, and have been looking at buying the DDP.

Thankyou :goodvibes

Claire :)

There were no changes to the DxDDP other than price. Same things are included.

Here you go:
2012 Disney Dining Plan Guide
2012 Disney Deluxe Dining Plan Guide
2012 Disney Quick Service Dining Plan Guide
The list of accepting locations contained within these plan guides will continue to increase. Disney has to negoiate with the non-Disney owned & operated dining locations.

Yup, same for DxDP, but regular has the refillable mug included, and Quick Serve will only have 1 snack (used to be 2).

The DP prices are very high, but so are buffet meals. Most character meals for dinner are close to $50.00/adult during peak season. So, Disney will more than likely just keep raising the menu prices, in order to add value to the DP.

It is cool that DVC does not have to pay seasonal DP prices, like cash guests do.

Hi Michael,

Thankyou for the links :goodvibes

I have been busy working out if the DDP is worth paying for and even with the price increase I have decided that it definatley is! We had been planning on doing 5 character meals but now we are going to have the DDP we will be doing at least 7! :thumbsup2
If only they would let me book my ADR's already!!

Thanks again for your help!

Claire :)

I just got done figuring out that with the price increase, and the fact that we are only doing 2 character meals this trip, the TIW card is the way to go this year. Should save about $100 per trip...hope my math was right!! But I am sure I will figure it all out again when our trip gets closer.

I am considering joining DVC, is the meal plan now included in the price of the DVC. That would make in even more worth it Thanks

It's not included in the price, it is additional. Same price as CRO, except the seasonal increase does not apply to DVC. No free dining.

Unlike CRO packages, you don't have to purchase tickets to be able to get a dining plan on a DVC reservation.
