I would have expected cruises over Thanksgiving to be more money. They aren't more as some other peak times?
I would think the same thing!!

Also, I noticed yesterday that the 11 night Southern Carib Holiday cruise (Dec 18) has a hugely discounted cat 12 rate. Four of us could go for $5,200. Now THATS a deal!

I dont think the Holiday 10/11/12 are doing as well as DCL hoped. They changed one of the 10s, to 2 5s, about 3 months after they advertised, supposedly due to low bookings.
Yes. Disney at least in the past, has kept the Magic doing the 7s during the winter and sent her to Europe or the west coast during the summer. At least 1 of the new ships will do the 7s, and its not out of the realm of impossibilities that the Magic may still be there doing longer or a different 7 day itinerary like canal trips or different carribean ports, then what is offered now.
So, at this point, it's probably safe to assume we will still be able to cruise with DCL on a 7 night Carribean cruise in January 2012 (what we are planning). It's just not clear what ship we will sail on? I really don't care which ship, as long as I am sailing when we can go![]()
We're all still waiting. Historically this info is released in October.![]()
I booked our June 2011 Med cruise on the Magic on Sept. 28, 2009. That was the first day I could book in my Castaway Club category (not the highest by any means). The 2011 schedule had been released at least a week or two before that date. Unless that was unusual, I would expect the 2012 itineraries to be out in Sept. 2010, not Oct. or as late as Nov.
