2012 Chevy Traverse- who has one?

I'm leasing a 2012 Traverse. We've had absolutely no problems with it. It is a gas pig but it's also a huge vehicle. Tons of storage space. One recommendation is get the rear buckets. Do not get the bench in the middle row. Buckets make it so much easier to get to the third row seats. Overall, the value for the money was outstanding.

Can they listen to station without headphones on or with? Would that muddle the noise? This doesn't have DVD player and the price was ridiculous, but it has everything else and is certified. Its funny how people never report Honda's problems and I know they have them.

We have a 2005 buick and have had zero problems with it....

They are at 29k and 0% financing- do you think that is fair? The way this is optioned- there isn't another one like it around...

My DSis and I have both had 2 Hondas each. BIL had 1 and a friend of ours had 2 as well. While I have no doubt problems can exist in any car/maker, my anecdotal experiences with the Hondas are all positive and do not even come close to the experiences I've had with Chevys. In fact, outside of standard maintenance, I can only think of one major problem of these. When my sister bought her last Honda, the dealership put the wrong tires on the vehicle (it was a trade). She had 4 flats within an hour of driving off the lot. The dealer sent a tow truck at his cost, replaced all 4 tires, and DSis was on her way. That was just a freak thing. I'm only glad she didn't have an accident when it happened.

I owned a Ford Taurus and DH has had 3 F150s. Loved all our Fords! Would gladly get another F150 any day. Chevys? No. I pay too much for a vehicle for it to self-destruct at 80K miles. That's what I feel like is happening. And yes, we have it maintenanced and keep up with oil changes and the normal stuff.

I would report problems I had with Hondas, but I just never had problems. It surprises me when people are able to keep Chevys for so long without having major problems or several minor issues that are never resolved.

Its funny how people never report Honda's problems and I know they have them.

Beyond any anecdotal evidence, that's really what the whole "resale value" thing is about, though. Hondas hold their value for longer time periods and with higher mileage because they have proven to be reliable cars that still have value down the road. If Chevys had the same track record, they would hold their value, too - but they don't.

Of course, there is going to be the occasional lemon with any make of car. But your odds of getting one is higher with Chevy than with Honda.

We got a 2011 last May with everything except Nav and the DVD player. We had a couple issues (one with the passenger heated seat vibrating), but it was still covered under the warranty so we paid nothing.

I love it. Yeah the mileage isn't the best, but I knew that going in. I need AWD and the option of a full 3rd row. We have the 2nd row captains chairs and I love them. We've driven to Disney twice in it from NE Ohio and have that space between the 2 seats in the 2nd row was awesome.

We found that finding a loaded or near loaded used Traverse was much harder then finding a base model.

Overall, I'd get another one. This is my first Chevy and I have nothing really to complain about (yet )
