The one on Vineland is the closest according to my GPS when I stayed there last year. It took only a few minutes to get there and it was nice and had a great selection.

My trip to the BCV's is just 27 days away!!! I am trying to decide whether to use a grocery delivery service, or just run by a Walmart when we get into town.

Do any of you (Teena maybe?) Beach Club experts know which Walmart is closer/easiest to get to on the way to the BC?

We just got back from our 3rd BC CL stay. It was wonderful! I have read reports of dirty rooms, but we did not have any problems. Our room was very clean. I requested a room with a full balcony, daybed, and close to the lounge. All of our requests were met.

We did a split stay with 2 nights at CSR followed by 6 nights at BC. The CSR experience was not so great, and we couldn't wait to get to BC. We tried to move to BC after the first night at CSR, but we were told it was sold out that night.

For years I had no interest in staying anywhere other than the Poly. We decided to give BC a try a couple of years ago, and we love it about as much as the Poly now. It makes it hard to choose where to stay!

Directions to Super Target, from the Beach Club:

Head towards Animal Kingdom Lodge (not park) and turn left at the light before you get to the Lodge (Sherberth Road). When you get to 192, turn right (west) and it's up the road a bit on the left. Lots of nice restaurants around there and much less crowded that the other side of WDW.

I booked standard view, anyone have any suggestion for request aside from my upper floor request. TA is still going to try to get me a GV, but it's a special deal, and so far only Std view is avail. dunno.

After much research and a whole lot of desire to stay in one or both, I have concluded, beyond a reasonable doubt that these are indeed indentical rooms! (Not conclusive but there is always that reasonable doubt)
Have you seen a cost difference associated the two descriptions?

On the DVC members reservations system it gives the option of
Deluxe villa
One bedroom villa
Two bedroom villa.

On the Disney reservation system it gives the option of
Studio,
One Bedroom Villa
Two Bedroom Lock-Off Villa.

I feel like you are booking the same room. They just call it a different names in the different business units.'\

Love the picture of the ceiling. We ate there in March and I did not notice the ceiling. Can't believe I didn't look up. Such a neat bit of architecture.

That's exactly how to get there. From BC, it should take about 15 minutes to get there. It's a nice SuperTarget.....I think it opened three years ago. The prices there are much cheaper than Winn-Dixie or Publix, both of which are in the same area.

My DH and I will be celebrating our 15th annviersary without our DKids! We're staying at the Beach Club October 25 - 28, club level, our first time and can't hardly wait.

We are celebrating my DH's 50th birthday and our best man's 45th birthday 2/27 - 3/4 at BCV (and one couple at YC). It's my 3 time there, DH's 2nd and everyone else is a BC/YC newbie! We are all so excited for this trip!!!

Are most people going to the Boardwalk Gym then? How is that gym in comparison to the Ship Shape Gym at YC/BC?? I didn't even realize the gym was closed until I looked at this thread--we leave in a couple weeks, so we will miss the re-opening by a few days.

Does anyone here know if Stormalong Bay will be undergoing repairs/maintenance the week of Feb 3 - 11th?
Last year during our stay (early Jan) they were doing repairs & many parts of the pool were sectioned off.
