Get those feet well Nannette. Very important component on Disney/Daughter trips. (Didn't know about your latest round until you were in recovery mode!)

Anyone going to have a Lime Green Mickey Head? I always forget to wear one!!!! But if I see one, I'll be sure and ask if it's one of you!

Hey guys I’m getting so excited it only 4 day to my first Beach club stay . I was wondering do you guys know if I can get some :bday: party:delivered to two room it’s my sister and my niece birthday

Come see me on Sunday or Monday in the lobby and I'll go back and make some up and give them to you if you don't have any luck getting them anywhere else.

Yay - it's a CP bar mission! And I love the TR chapter title! Good thing you don't live closer to me, or I would be asking you to bring some back for me. I'm serious.

No way - that's almost exactly what I do!!! I wrap them up in the ziplock bags (the ones that are slightly larger than sandwich, but smaller than storage), but then I bring them in my carry-on. But I still have the shape-shifting issue that you mentioned, so I really like your plastic storage tub idea. During one of our trips last year, as we were getting off the plane, I realized I was missing one of my ziplocked CP bars. I tried to turn around and get back on the plane, and something about FAA rules prevented my rescue mission. Darn! Fortunately, the flight attendant agreed to search the overhead bin and emerged with . . . my missing ziplocked CP bar! Yay!

OK, now I sound entirely crazy. But I'm feeling much better knowing I'm not alone!!!

I did the same thing on my last trip....except it was a salted caramel milk chocolate bar and a salted caramel dark chocolate bar! I ended up checking my carry-on because it was so stuffed, but I had a Disney Parks shopping bag full of all kinds of goodies to carry on. I stayed at OKW with friends on that trip, so I only made it to Karamel Kuche one day.....this year I plan on going every day and trying a new treat every day!!

:rotfl:

We had the Oreo one too and thought it was very average (and DS said the Oreo was soggy!!) I liked the Red Velvet at Starring Rolls (ALOT) but DH and DS split the Butterfinger and were underwhelmed. Captain Cooks has a Mango something or another that sounds promising that we may check out on our Kona night (In the name of research of course :rolleyes1) but I was curious if there was anything closer to where we are staying in case I am too full to get back to our room without the assistance of a luggage cart! :rotfl2:

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE (yes, that's a lotta love) the Red Velvet Cheesecake cupcake from Starring Rolls. I had it last September and they put it in a to-go package for me (kind of like a little chinese food container). I had half for dessert one night and the other half for breakfast the next morning. It's definitely on my list for this year!! DH and I split the Peanut Butter cupcake from there on our 1st trip.....it was good, but nothing compared to the Red Velvet.

I am always on the lookout for cupcakes, pastries, and caramels! Starring Rolls also offers a very good eclair!

If you happen to be in the BC Marketplace when they have the cupcakes out, maybe snap a picture of them in their natural element.

When you walk in the Beach Club Marketplace, there is a refrigerator section. It's L shaped. Most of it is along the left wall, but it continues a little bit to the wall which would be straight in front of you. Go to the little part which is straight in front of you. Go to the far right end of it. The cupcakes are there. Each cupcake is in its own see-through plastic container.

Most places at Disney have the cupcakes refrigerated. Some people say the cupcakes taste better if you wait awhile and let them warm up a bit.

Just checking in and will catch up when I can :)

The flight was great and our room is phenomenal. I don't know that we'd do ME again on a later flight (we arrived at 7:30 to the ME welcome center and arrived to check in at beach club at 9:30). It was exhausting and the girls were miserable. Next late flight we take a taxi lol.

We are in room 4542 and have a daybed. Not sure if that's standard but it was a nice surprise and works well with the girls. The room seems massive compared to AKL, but still love AKL. We had the bathroom fan making an extremely loud grinding sound, but they had someone there within 15 minutes to fix it. Garden Grocer was great if anyone was wondering! Everything was perfect and I was so thankful to have immediate snacks to give the girls while I unpacked. Housekeeping has been great. The room was so clean and cleaned great when we got back today.

Today we went took it easy after last night. We let the girls sleep and finally made it to Magic Kingdom at 10:30. Yea one of those people ;) lol. Anyways, we had no plan and nothing to accomplish since it was a "smell the roses day" so my YDD could adjust. She gets sensory overload easily and shuts down. By far the best idea we had. We did get splash mountian fastpasses, had lunch at Columbia harbor house, rode splash, YDD got her dream of meeting pooh bear. Then we rode pooh bear and headed over to Wilderness Lodge for dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe. We took the boat which the girls thought was just the coolest. The food and service was all great! We headed back to BC and the girls are already sleeping!! Weather has also been great!!! Small shower this afternoon and downpour for 20 mins just now! Otherwise simply beautiful!!!

Teena---glad you had a great time with your girls in Vegas despite not feeling well. Hope you feel better soon!!

Heidi---Have a wonderful time! Sounds like you are off to a great start!!:thumbsup2

tks for the link but $65.00 ok im good with that but $ 25.00 to send it to the room = ouch I'll think I'm going to have to sleep on the price.

Really? I ordered the Mickey Kool Snack for my mom & grandma's rooms when we had our Disney wedding, and ordered it again for our room at the Dolphin this summer. I believe the delivery fee is only $10 for the Disney Resorts. The Kool Snack is $40 and with the service charge, taxes, and delivery fee, my total was $56.92.

We got this same one and we loved it! And our delivery was a lot less than $25. I have one delivered to the CR and another to All Stars for a friend

We loved it too! I think it's a pretty decent value as far as their options go! Flowers die, balloons pop, cakes get eaten, but you can use this cooler forever :thumbsup2

Was there a wedding at the YC Gazebo? Were there just two brides, and no grooms? Just curious........

Two separate wedding parties and we missed the ceremony.. Just saw them walking and having pics taken on the grounds. The one had a white horse driven stagecoach like Cinderella, breathtaking!

Did dt Disney tonight and took everyones taxi recommendation. Had an entertaining dinner at raglan road and enjoyed a few rides at Disney quest. A perfect first day!

We are booked for a 4 night stay at BCV in a studio, only reason we are staying there is because that's where our friends were staying. So, I hope I love this resort. We love the cabins at FW, and the THV's at SSR, those are our favorites so far. I've heard lots of good things, and I'm optimistic that it will be fun! :) This is after movers come, we're moving from FL to CA, so we'll need a Disney stay after that stress!!

I'm thinking about it too. Did you have a specific date in mind? What time does the boat leave? I have to look at our schedule and see if we can fit it in. I think my family would love it!
