I don't really know the exact answer, but there are not many. Maybe 2 or 3 in club level at the BC.
I promise to check out the current BC cupcake situation and report back in a few weeks time!
Nothing comes to mind right now, but let me think about it.
If you happen to be in the BC Marketplace when they have the cupcakes out, maybe snap a picture of them in their natural element.
And sample one or two.
For research purposes, only, of course!
Based on pixarmom's obsession with the caramel pecan bars, I am determined to check out the Karamell Kuche shop in a couple of weeks during my trip with the teens. I have even come up with the title of my TR chapter for this escapade...
"Braces be D*mned, We're Going to Germany!!!"
@ocalla- yes, Teena returned home today.
I think we had that guy once or someone using a similar line. He said "pick the one you like best..."
Just another reason I love Southwest. They have some of the best flight attendants.
Cinderumbrella: We were talking the other day about what to do for our actual 10th wedding anniversary in 2014 and Aulani is a consideration. Never been to Hawaii. America's Funniest Home Videos was there on this past Sunday's episode and that's what got us talking about it. Hope you have a fantastic trip to WDW and to Maui!
Ah, thanks muchly.![]()
Oh, please do. For research purposes, of course. Will you try the German Chocolate one as well? I'm really stoked about Red Velvet at Starring Rolls. It's on my mental list already. The things we are willing to do for science...
Now that I'm reading talk of a BC Pirate Cruise, I've got to look into this. Didn't even know about it! Even though we're only staying for a short time, we've only got 2 park days planned plus a night at MNSSHP. With a lot of resort time planned, might be fun for our kiddo...![]()
We never even considered Aulani because we didn't want to be around that many kids!![]()
I am thinking of surprising my family with either the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage or Seas Aqua Tour (snorkeling in the tank at the Seas). My daughter is 9, a great swimmer, and pretty adventurous. Has anyone done these? Can you tell me what they are like?
Also is there a boat cruise you can do from the beach club and watch Illuminations? I can't find it on the Disney site.
Thanks

Feel better and heal quickly. Can we expect to enjoy your company here while you recover?
I am always here Dee... Lurking most times! Thanks for the well wishes!

Honestly, I'll be happy enough just staying at the BC again; they could stick me in the elevator with an air mattress.
I'm back. Got home last night. Overall, I had a fantastic time. Only negative was Monday morning I woke up feeling funny. Not sure if it was food poisoning or a stomach flu. By noon I was running a fever and my stomach was shouting at me. I was in between Jeanne's class and the bathroom all day. On Monday night I was suppose to leave Jeanne's and check in at the casino for the invitational tournament. Jeanne got me checked in and had to help me get a shower. Have no idea what my temp was but I can't remember much of the next few days except crawling to the bathroom during the night because I was so dizzy. Fever broke Tuesday AM. I woke totally soaked. I only went down and played the two sessions on Tuesday (20 minutes each) and spent the rest of the day in bed. Tried to eat a pretzel and it came out the other end shortly thereafter in a water version. Tuesday night ran a fever again. Wednesday I got down a piece of toast and played in the last session of the tournament. Got down more Pepsi and actually felt good enough to play some poker. Thursday I spent all day on the plane pretty much and last night I got down half a cheese sandwich. I actually slept through the night and feel almost normal again this morning. Still weak. Hopefully today and tomorrow will get me strong enough to work Sunday.
Spending the time with Jeanne and Lily was magical. Lily is so much fun and Jeanne said she was looking for me on Tuesday when she woke up. We had a "thing" we did in bed every morning and she apparently missed me. I know next time I see her she won't remember me. I can't wait until she is old enough not to forget us every time we leave her for a period of time.
Glad to be home. I missed Bob so much. It was so nice to see his smiling face waiting for me at the airport. But I think the thing I missed the most was the green and humidity. I absolutely hate how dirty everything is in Vegas and the dryness. When the plane landed and I saw water and green, it put a huge smile on my face. And then I actually could take air into my lungs that had some moisture in it (instead of soot) --- HEAVEN!!! I know for sure I was born to be a Floridian!
Arrived this am and my hubby and I are people watching on our Yacht Club balcony while our son naps, true bliss!
Anyhow, landed at 11am, was in line for ME at 11:10 and arrived at our hotel by noon and were able to check in right away. I was being conservative but I thought for sure after all of the waiting and such we would be good to go by 3. What a nice surprise because we spent the morning having lunch at Hurricane Hannah's, swam at the pool all afternoon and made homemade ice cream, having a blast!
oh and ps already cried... like 2 minutes into the video on the ME. I'm such a softie haha
Also saw two beautiful brides and cute flower girls, and the not so good is the love bugs. They actually don't bother me because they look like lightening bugs (we have midges at home and they are a lot worse). I'm just worried if they get super bad at night but we'll see.
Room is average but clean... I've been in nicer for less of a price point but the amenities can't be beat I suppose![]()

Speaking of Southwest Airlines ... you all know that's all I fly. The attendant (middle aged man) yesterday was a hoot. He's based in Orlando so maybe one of you will get lucky and get him. So funny! He's giving the spiel about safety and gets to the part where the masks drop from the top and says, "if the cabin looses pressure and the masks drop, adults should first put their mask on and if traveling with children, then assist the child. If traveling with more than one child, pick the one with the most potential and assist them."
Only on Southwest!
To all our family members leaving within the next week.

Would someone please PM me the information for the IPO? We still have not been contacted and switched to CL a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks!
