I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for travel insurance. I'm thinking we should probably have it since this is going to be a rather big trip! Thanks! (If this isn't the right place to ask, just point me in the right direction)
My family uses Allianz Travel Insurance- used to be Access America. We used to purchase through our local AAA but now we just get a quote and purchase it online.
We have never had to put in a claim, thankfully, but a couple hundred bucks is worth having the security for us.
Who have others used?
Every once and awhile I see a thread about travel insurance- maybe on the Theme Park boards or in Transportation. You can do a search if you want a few more names.
Woke up to 10 degree weather and snow this morning. 217 more days until our trip. It feels like forever.
I know in a few hours when I'm at the office looking at my goals for 2013, I'll be thinking, "Oh no! January is nearly gone! Time's going too fast!"
But not this morning . . .
It's been a while since I posted or even have been on the Dis.We left for our vacation in December and I haven't posted since. Our trip in December was our worst vacation. Less than 24 hours after we arrived, our DD caught the stomach bug and was quite ill. Every family member was ill at some point, and I stayed in the room with the sick people.
Thanks for the quick responses about travel insurance!! I definitely think we should get it. One more quick question! We put our deposit down almost 2 weeks ago... Is there a certain time frame we need to purchase the insurance?
Definitely check out the Christmas lights that the folks staying at Fort Wilderness Camp Grounds decorate their spots with. We planned a dinner in the area (this time it was Kona) and then we took the boats to get to FWCG. We booked a carriage ride but you can easily walk around to see these magnificent lights.

glovergirls said:I just made the official switcharoo from the GF. I kept hoping the courtyard pool would be done in time at the GF but it is definitly a no go now, I am bummed because I do love the GF but excited to try a new resort.
We will be at the yacht club 2/20-3/1. My first silly question is, where is the closest place to get mac and cheese. My DDs are big mac and cheese eaters. Big thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome when I was thinking about switching a couple weeks ago, you guys are great!

You can get mickey waffles and pancakes through room service, right? That is one of the big things I was hesitant about is the lack of mickey waffles, LOL.

This is a little old, but I don't think the room service menus have changed recently:
