Do you know if you could get the sushi as a counter service meal- that is, could you use a CS credit and get the sushi, drink and a dessert? I know you can get grab and go sushi at Sunshine Seasons and at the CS place in Japan as a CS meal.

I am going to add this photo to our Beach Club Marketplace thread, and add your villa pictures to the BCV post on page 1.

It certainly did count as a quick service meal. They had both california rolls and vegetable rolls. I got the California Rolls, a bottle of Diet Coke and topped it off with a delicious white chocolate dipped rice krispie treat. It was yummy!

Thanks Dee for the new thread!! Teena, I love the new pic of Lily---she's beautiful! KLDMom2000, I love the lightning pics!

I took DD7 on a surprise birthday trip to New York City this weekend (her birthday is next Saturday). We did a red-eye bus trip Friday night with a couple of her fellow Brownie Girl Scouts and another local Brownie troop. A great time was had by all, but I have never been so happy to see my shower and bed this morning!!! Although, my sleep has been interrupted by DS3 all day long....he missed us and was so mad that he didn't get to go. But he doesn't have too much longer til Disney!

Now I'm all caught up on this new thread and I can start seriously getting ready for our September trip......42 days til we're checking in at BC!!

Wow yes that is very sad that you can't share... but better safe than sorry!! Actually the chefs table is not a part of the platinum plan I've upgraded it... DD is about to be engaged to a chef and I thought she would love that she can tell him shes eating at the chefs table at Disney!! When we are out with him its always at the chefs table with all the chefs making a fuss so why not have that at Disney ;o) I'm going to add the wine paring because she would love that as well.. and I won't plan to drive that night (taking your advice ;o))
We have the firework cruise planned that night as well so that should be fun!! I'll be posting live while I'm there!!! So maybe you'll follow along!!

I was at the Ocean City NJ beach Sunday (and today, Monday) doing road trips with the boys. OMG they are keeping me SO BUSY! .... BUT we are having fun so it's worth it, plus I get to hang out with my good friend who has a teenage boy and a Fresh Air Fund camper as well. My camper goes home Friday after two weeks here and I think I am going to sleep for hours and hours when he leaves!

What ever happened to the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer?? It seems we are stuck on the crazy part of that schedule.

Off to bed to rest up for another one of our exciting adventures!

Thanks everyone for posting your pics. It's making me so excited for our stay in a few weeks.

I loved the pics of the Dis Meet/Teena shower! How wonderful.

Have to laugh at the pool rules- Don't swallow the pool water?

Bad news ... I Just got back from the hospital. I had some horrible back pain at work today. Bob took me to emergency and after blood and urine tests and a Cat Scan ..... It's a HUGE kidney stone. Doctor said I must have been in horrible pain for over a month with it. I said I had some discomfort but thought it was just gas pains off and on for over a month. The pain was actually bad a few times while I was in Vegas for Lily's birth ... just ignored it. He said most people wouldn't be walking with one this big. It's way too big for it to ever pass and he said I need to see a specialist tomorrow and they will most likely have to put me in a water tank and use sonor to blast it ... it's too big he thought for the other kind of blasting. Sounds very strange!!! He has me on strong pain meds and says no work for at least five days. He said he didn't see how I could still go on our mini anniversary vacation because the pain, even with meds, would keep me from wanting to eat or do much of anything. I'll see what the specialist says. What's the difference if I'm in pain at home waiting for the procedure which could be in a few days or at the Beach Club in the swimming pool?????

Oh, and the reason I went to ER tonight besides having horrible pain at 5 PM in the lobby ... so bad I thought I was going to pass out ... when I went to the bathroom before heading home, you guessed it, lots of blood. Pain I can deal with, the blood scared me pretty good!

I'm so upset at the thought of missing my first day back in the sun. I've been counting it down since the radiation doctor told me I could finally get in the sun in August. I even have my bathing suit and Noodles packed!!!!!

Is this year ever going to end??????

Teena, so sorry to hear this! I hope they are able to take care of everything quickly and with minimal discomfort. If you feel you are ready for the Beach Club, then I hope the medical staff is supportive, but if not, you can celebrate together when you are feeling up to it and can fully enjoy yourselves!
