^ All my reservations "disappeared" this morning and the web site said there was some glitch they were working on. Maybe that's what's causing the problem.

It happens more often than not. I had the same problem this morning, but after logging out, waiting an hour, and logging back in, they all reappeared. I don't even bother going through the "find your reservation" process anymore... as they will show up eventually! :surfweb:

And my 2 cents on the PH option? I say go for it, but that's because as much as I'm an insane planner, I always like the ability to make a last minute change if required (esp when it comes to where to eat!)

Getting ready for 9am rd at Mk. Still a surprise to the kids!!!
Hope you had a great time. Can't wait to hear about how the surprise went down.

Thanks Dee! I did see the start time for the campfire is 7:30, but I didn't see an end time. I did notice the movie starts at 9:00, so we should at least be able to catch the movie that first night (or at least part of it.)

Enjoy your day!

I believe, though I could be wrong, the campfire goes on til the start of the movie or is at least an hour long. Somebody may be able to give you a better answer since this will be our first year going to the campfire!

I have a question about the pools at the Beach club resort.

We will be there December 12th thru the 16th. I hear that the pools are heated. BUT we stayed at POP 4 years ago during the same dates and their "Heated" pool was a bit chilly even in 65 degree weather.

So my question is, when they say "Heated" do they really mean heated?...lol.

seems to happen almost daily. quite frustrating.

The Disney Parks online service stinks....There is no excuse for a company as large as Disney to have continued problems like they do. I have been in the middle of booking a room and the page disappears, sometimes my reservations are there and sometimes not, Disney will ask me to log in multiple times, etc....:headache:

It can be very frustrating. If you do an survey in the lobby of your resort please tell interviewer about this and your frustrations with it. (Very nicely of course). Teena says this is the best way to get things changed. I know I was already preparing to find a survey on our next trips for this very reason.

MM thanks for the updates. I have been on the 'puter way too long. :surfweb: Our Lilly's all grown up.

Hi all! I don't think I have posted on this thread yet, which is odd, since we're going to BC one month from today! :cool1:

I've been undecided about the PH option - its only an extra @ $200 to add to our 4 tickets, but still... that's a lot of souvenirs I could by. :teacher: My current itinerary doesn't really call for us to PH. We've got two munchkins (DS5 and DS7) and I really think PH would overwhelm them. One park per day (with an afternoon spent at SAB) seemed to be what we could manage.

So BC/YC'ers... do you PH, and do you consider this worth the extra $$? And is there any other way to ride the monorail to MK?

We have two little ones too and have always used Park Hoppers. Here's why... sometimes as others have mentioned you go to a certain park that is supposed to be not crowded, and it is packed. It's nice to be able to go to a different park, especially with little ones.

Also, it's great to be able to rest at your resort in the afternoon and then head out later. Sometimes a change of scenary is great for your little ones (by heading to a different park). At other times, your little ones might be a little tired, so strolling around Epcot after a morning at MK might be a more relaxing option than traveling via bus back to MK, which could make for a long night.

Remember, you don't have to make up your mind now. You could skip the Park Hoppers and then if you decide during your vacation that you want to do it, you can add it at any time, from what I've heard.

Good luck with your decision.

I'll bet I know where all of Disney's Info tech guys and gals are..... AT THE CAPTAIN'S Grille!

Bwa ha ha! Sorry. (not really) That was bad. ::yes:: I too have experienced frustration and disappointment with the mysterious and all powerful Disney reservations system. If you don't realize how bad it is you could have a heart attack when you log on and you don't have any dining reservations according to Disney.

I always carry with me to the parks a list of my dining reservation numbers. On more than one occasion I have been told that I am "not in our system". I just tell them their "system" stinks and then I produce that number. That always fixes the problem.

For this last trip it happened at the Rose and Crown when I had Mr. Bean and his buddy Bennie Hill checking us in. In mid conversation about this situation some guy walked up, interrupted us and started talking to them. They forgot about me standing RIGHT THERE and talked to him at length about his problem. I kept waiting for the end of the conversation but Bennie and Bean didn't have a clue so they just stood there dumbstruck trying to figure out how to help this guy that couldn't be helped. Finally I started moving closer and closer to the two cast members until I was totally in their personal space. They got the hint and resumed not being able to resolve my problem until a hostess came along and did all the thinking.

Usually I am a reasonable and polite human being but it was hot and I just didn't have the patience. If you want to get the attention that you deserve I recommend getting up close and way too personal. You can be really hard to ignore if you do that!

Well as far as the reservations go, I had much better luck with their mobile app! It searched found it, and attached to my reservation in less than 10 minutes! It was so easy!

For reservations, I have actually switching to using Google Chrome and it works so much better than Internet Explorer for the Disney Reservation site. It even has my days until arrival correct almost everytime, big improvement from it not even being there :cool1:

Which mobile app? Is it the Verizon exclusive one?

Park hop!!

If you or your husband wanted to take a snooze with the kids, the other spouse could make a quick run to shop/eat at Epcot or Hollywood studios. Also you could do a 'further' park in the morning (Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom) and then do a close park (Hollywood Studios, Epcot) at night and when it was time for the kids to be tuckered out and go back to the room for bed time maybe Mom or Dad could come back to the close park for some 'me' time while the other parent went to bed early with the kids.

HOP! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :tigger: :goofy: :mickeyjum :stitch: :simba: :donald: :dumbo: :sulley: :jumping3:

:jumping1:

Marlton Mom, I think this might just be the best argument yet for why we would need PH passes! Shopping!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Ok here comes another picture, but I MUST WARN YOU.... This next one is too cute!!!!

Perhaps it would be wise to do a little warm up of the diaphragm muscles to prevent a paroxysmal attack of the ooohs and ahhhs.

Teena, she's precious. Congratulations to your entire family.

Congratulations, too, to all those who guessed a girl!princess:

That Disney princess onesie on a cute gilr is just adorable!

or order off of a menu to wit: ""The Captain's Omelet" - Open-faced Cheese Omelet with Butter Poached Lobster, Potato, and Chive Cream $12.99" (OMG!!!!! It was AWESOME!!!!! :woohoo:) or Steak and eggs.

That settles it! Captain's Omelet sounds fab!

Re: park-hoppers. We've never gotten them, but I can tell you that if I ever have plans to see Fantasmic again during the time of the year when it's shown only twice, I will get hoppers. Many folks plan to see Fantasmic and plan to visit DHS on the same day (no hoppers) and DHS is just mobbed on F! days.

Fantasmic is one of the best reasons for PH. I agree. DHS is usually way too busy on those days for me. I had already planned it this way for our upcoming trip. Now with them adding Fantasmic to every night I have no idea what that will do to attendance during the day!!:confused3

The pictures of Lilly are great. Thanks so much for posting them!! It's going to be hard for Teena to come back to work.
